Awesome pepperettes

Been going for 10 years we place big orders all the time, they come through every time for us. We are so happy with there products.

I have worked there as well as ordered thousands and thousands of pepperettes, bacon, lunch meat, all kinds of pork products, chicken breast, steaks, etc, every order has been packed and portioned as I requested and most always on time, the owner is the best and knows his meats, some of the staff are not friendly, but I almost always deal with Erich personally, he tries to keep with up with the very large orders, but if he can't, communication will be made as soon as possible, for those who have said such negative things, I hope u do give this place another chance, the owner has been in this type of business for his entire life, as his father was, and he does his very best to accommodate everyone who comes in or calls in a order, again it is a very small place but they work hard to get the quality right, given the health scares, issues and surgeries the owner has had, he still strives for perfection and to maintain his reputation, I recommend this place for folks who want quality and quantity along with care :)

The woman who deals with the customers is hard to describe- but i'll try.
She gives you the feeling that she is doing you a favour buy buying her product. She couldn't care less weather you ever return to buy more. She hasn't the first clue how to deal with customers.
At first i gave her the benefit of the doubt- maybe she was just having an off day.
But no, she is just downright mean.
Stay as far away from this place as you can.

I have been dealing with smf for years. I have ordered thousands of pepperettes from them and they have always came through with the order on time and a great product . I have also had many other products from them , for example , smf bacon , its the best ive ever had ,lean and smoked to perfection .all of their products are made to a high standard, I definitely recommend Silver Maple Farm for all your meat needs.

I was recommended to try silver maple farms by a friend when I got to the shop I was a little worried by the size of the place. As it would turn out the old saying is tru good things come in small packages. I entered the shop and was treated by a very friendly young woman who took my order and while she was packaging my meats i had the pleasure of meeting the owner who took a few moments to explain some different cuts I wasn't sure about. When I left I felt informed and confident my friend had suggested a great place to do business. When I got home I prepared the food for a party we were having and everyone asked where we got the meat. I was only too happy to tell them it's all from Silver Maple Farms. Erich and his staff have made me and several of my friends and family loyal customers.

The pepperettes are the best ever

Be prepared for a lot of disappointment! They will cancel your order if they feel like it, and when you call to find out what's going on, they will swear at you and hang up on you. A large order for a fundraiser to help kids was cancelled without reason or response. Do not do business with these guys, I repeat, go elsewhere. High, high risk. They actually said that they are closing the business - time will tell if that is a lie or not.

Stay away from these people: terrible customer service and did not even deliver on the approx 600 orders we gave them as part of a kids fundraising event. They didn't even call us to bail, I had to track them down for her to finally tell me that 'maybe' they could produce the order next month. When I asked if Maybe meant 'for sure' she just cancelled the order and hung up! As a result, we had to scramble to find another last minute supplier which ended up costing the kids over $300 out their own pocket. Just a terrible all round experience start to finish. Save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.
