Be careful on any pre-orders... The owner endorses "bait and switch" pricing on sale prices EVEN AFTER YOU'VE PAID. Bought wood on sale in May, went to pick it up... no wood. So I was advised by RONA to cancel the order and reorder it again at the store. Did that. Waited. Nothing. Called... called...called... I finally learned that they cancelled the 2nd order with no notice and no reason. As it turns out, once the opportunistic owner of this RONA found out he could sell the wood for more money, there was no need to honor his offer or even inform his customer... TWICE. No reason was provided for why they wouldn't honor both purchases but it's clear why... when faced with the prospect of honoring his offer vs. profiting off of COVID shortages by reneging on customers PURCHASES, it was an easy decision. There's a term for that... it's called bait and switch... Some places have bad service. This place has bad values... from the top down. If you do happen to buy something on sale here, make SURE you confirm they won't bait and switch you. Very disappointed in this RONA team...
