I would consider any other builder then Pratt homes when purchasing a property. They use low quality parts and subpar contractors to complete the work. We had deficiencies named in our PDI 30 day not fixed. We were advised that because we missed our one year the only things that were noted on our 30 days and PDI would be addressed. After pictures were sent and not "visible" to the team I created a document to resend them. At that point Pratt turned around and said it been too long and that they wouldn't be fixing anything. For example - We had a door frame completely kicked in by the contractors for them to get into the house during the build phase. All the did was shoot some nails and paint over it, however this is still unfixed after we had noted it multiple times. If you don't want a headache run away. I will never buy another house from this company and advise no one else should.

We have purchased our Pratt Home 16 years ago and we still love it and live in it. We did not have any issues with the original build or getting anything done as requested. The team was fantastic and moved quickly at fixing anything that was slightly off from our expectations. We have made some upgrades since the original build which we needed to open walls move some plumbing and electrical around due to the renovations but nothing has caused us grief on a bad build. If I was to move, we would be looking at other Pratt Homes.

I didn't have a great experience with this builder.

There were issues that were not attended to or resolved even after complains. The builder said it wasn't part of their coverage area. There was no empathy, compassion or concern shown towards the home owner's situation in the house.

It's a new built and some things shouldn't be happening after only a few months of living in the house.

There were flies living in the house and mice coming in and going to the roof. They all didn't come in through an open door or window. There was a crack, opening, gap somewhere on the external wall which shouldn't be. Sign of not paying attention to details on important areas.

I wouldn't have purchased from this builder. They need to do better!

They honestly don’t deserve a star. They are the worst builder !
The good thing about them is the sales team. Other than that, I don’t understand how their condos pass code inspections when theres numerous units complaining about the same things !!! Their wood is cheap, you can hear noises on all levels - above and below, and it’s just a horrible environment to say you’re proud of. I could’ve never thought that this would be more first time home owners experience. Please avoid !

Pratt Homes, worst builder ever!!! The awful experience dealing with this builder does not compare with anything. Avoid buying from them. We made that mistake 2 years ago and now we are still running after them to get our deposit back. We bought from Mason, Melody and was really smooth. This builder humiliate you and treat you like second class person. There are plenty builders in Barrie. PRATT HOMES IS THE WORST BUILDER EVER!!!!!

A todos los latinos. Eviten comprar alguna casa de esta constructora. Tenemos una experiencia muy mala con ellos. Nosotros le hemos comprado a otras contructoras como Melody Homes y Mason y nunca nos han tratado de esta forma. Estas personas te tratan como ciudadano de segunda clase. Gasten su dinero con alguien q realmente los respete. PRATT HOMES ES LA PEOR CONSTRUCTORA Q HE VISTO EN MI VIDA. Por favor compartan para q no les suceda a otro

I made the mistake of believing what I was told in the sales center for Pratt condos.
They promised me that my condo could be altered in the way I desired, but when I took possession the changes were not done.
I would never have bought this condo if they had been honest with me. Now they just keep coming up with excuses about why it can't be done. Buyer beware

Hi, I would to make buyers beware of Pratt Homes, I am in my home 2 1/2 years, from the day we moved in there has been nothing but problems with Floods, Leaks, poor workmanship, the worst Ive seen, and a various other issues. I have experienced yet another flood recently, maybe due to hydrostatic pressure, I have water coming through the floor of my basement, Pratt as usual, have no idea why. and don't really care. Ive had outside doors on back to front upgraded cabinets, mixed up with a neighbours, bricks missing from the facia of my house, personal belongings damaged by water, to be told claim your own insurance. Pratt homes, think of Homebuyers as $$$, if you have issues within your home, the repair the cheapest way possible, caulking they love it they use it for everything, and if that doesn't work they use it again, If there any postings on here that say, that Homebuyers are extremely happy with their homes, take it as Pratt posting their own comments, to weigh out the negative ones, If you buy a Pratt Home, I guarantee you will regret it. They are now doing condos and the condos are beautiful. Great experience. Would recommend.

I am impressed- No hidden costs really means no hidden costs. Other builders should take a page out of Pratt's book.

Very impressed, I had some things that need to be serviced- they serviced.
