We had an on going issue with the shingles since we moved in. We kept complaining about the shingles every year, they would come and fix it but do a very poor job. After 4 years I had to replace my whole roof and pay $6000 on our 4 year old home. It's not just my house, there are 6 other houses on our street with the same problem. Shingles that the Paradise builders installed is 50km per hour. The material Paradise uses is very cheap. I suggest to anyone buying a new home to spend $50,000 more on better builders.

We've been in our new Paradise Home in Aurora Trails for about 6 months now and I felt the need to write a review for other new home buyers since we were in their shoes not too long ago. At first we were a bit hesitant buying a $1M+ home from a builder we knew little about but we are so glad we did buy from Paradise Homes now. Our PDI was very thorough with the builder. We have had minor issues ranging from paint touch-ups, fixing exterior cosmetic issues, etc. but each time we had an issue, we emailed the Paradise Customer Care Team. I cannot say enough about how great MICHELLE SERROUL (customer care liason) has been. Each time I email her, I get an acknowledgement within the same day and usually the next day they send a technician to fix the issue. We have had no issues with customer service, in fact, this is our 3rd home and we are very happy with the level of service from Paradise Homes that we are thinking of buying a 2nd home from them as an investment. For example, when we first moved in, we were promised a cleaning team would come in to do a cleaning before we moved in but we got our keys a bit early and when we arrived the house was not cleaned. So we called Michelle and they sent a cleaning team within 2 hours of our call so we could move into a clean home.

When we had some minor issues that needed to be fixed, ANTHONY IAMONACO (DESIGN OPERATIONS MANAGER and CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER) was also very prompt to acknowledge our concerns and had a team working to fix the issue within a day or two. For example, our furnace was not working, so we emailed Michelle and Anthony and they sent a technician the next day to fix it.

Having a young family, we needed things to be fixed efficiently and we found Paradise Homes to be very helpful. We are extremely pleased with the level of customer service at Paradise Homes and would definitely buy another home from them.

Thank you Michelle and Anthony for your continued assistance and support in our new Paradise Home.

Not pleased when we saw where the windows were placed - looking right into our neighbours bedrooms and bathrooms. Ridiculous - no thought given to the families that will live here. Homes are jammed up next to each other to satisfy greed in getting more homes into the area. Disgusting - why not build homes that are pleasing to the eye with reasonable space between houses and consideration as to window placement, wouldn't mind paying more for that.

I bought a paradise home and it was the worst quality and workmanship. First all the materials used looked like they were not new, almost most of them were broken once. Can't image the breakers on the power panel were broken just two years later after that was originally repaired right after the moved in. Everything in the home does not look like a professional work.

Hi all fellow friends and future home buyers, I would like to warn you all to stay away from Paradise Development. This builder is terrible!!! In simple words - they are a scam. The house they build may be totally unlike the pictures and drawing they promote. It may have missing components along with bad job finishings, and many many mismatches compared to their initial advertised models. There are many true stories of bad experiences like missing a direct access to the garage, missing a gable on a roof, terrible mouldings throughout the house, and much more that you ever imagine.

If you express the problem with their head office, they'll just BS you with ridiculous explanations like: "There's nothing wrong with it", "the construction manager approved it", "the city approved it", "it's a different elevation", "Exterior elevation, appearances, and finishings will be similar to pictures or renderings but may not necessarily be identical", "There's nothing I can do about it, I will forward you to my manager (which is forwarded to a voice mail that will never pick up or call back)". Clearly they did not do any due diligence or fulfill basic customer expectations, nor their customer care department cares. Instead, irresponsible bitches will pick up and tell you there's nothing they will do about it.

I can seriously go on and on, but I will finalize my words here by saying they are HORRIBLE!!!

I just moved in Ravine Crossing and that house is nothing but problems. About 2 months ago the shelves and the railing fell off the wall in my master bedroom closet. The MDF part of the stay was nailed with finishing nails right in the drywall (not stud), you can imagine how secure that will be. There are so many other things not to mention condensation problem in my cold room and 2 huge leaks in my porch all the water was going in my cold room. My suggestion stay away from Paradise no matter what they are offering you. There customer service at the head office is the worst specially the customer service manager.

Work is never completed on time not with good quality. This builder has been very hard to work with. Does not think of the customer who paid the money to run their business.

I purchased a house form Paradise in Impressions Kleinberg and It has been only problems with this builder.
Never have been supporting to us in the process up to closing and beyond PDI. Only first 2 days in Sales office was they were supportive and it all changed as soon as the agreement is signed.
So don't get tricked in to their SALES mirages.
Their development and onsite teams are terrible and understaffed. most of the work do not get completed on time.

If you are looking for a house to buy in impressions Kleinberg area Stay away form Paradise homes (probably they are doing good in other communities) but Kleinberg Phase 1 community (sold in 2013) is only partially completed even over a year has passed in completion dates.

Once you have signed any document and paid to buy this builder does not care about service and does very low quality work. even Does look for loop holes in Tarion warranty to close their problems.,
They Partially finished a community in Kleinberg ON last Summer/Fall and 30 day warranty items were not completed till 6 months later.. and the completion quality was very low . They had to sign a separate agreement to extend the warranty fixing time period to save their a** form Tarion.

Workmanship and Quality control was absolutely Zero with this builder.
My suggestion is stay away from this bogus builder who has no respect for the clients who paid money buy from another builder (We wish this type of feedback was available for us to refer and not to get in to this mess with a bad home builder like Paradise homes)

People seem to complain when things don't go right however hardly take the time to praise when everything is going swell. I also agree Velda is a bi^$%^&, however everything was fixed in my home in a timely manner. I love my Paradise home. Their features beat all the builders and I especially love the 9' ceilings on the 2nd floor with the 10' ceilings in the master bedroom. I guess its all about expectations. Mine were met so I was happy.

so you like features which explains the knowledge and your expectations of a home... you don't care what quality material being used, what is behind your walls and how the exterior work is finished..

They have terrible customer service. Michael is a tool. He was actually doing nothing in his office playing with a guitar when I walked by the office. We have had so many home issues. Pathetic excuses. Months and months to fix a problem. Had a leak through our ceiling was not fixed. They excuse stopped leaking.why did we buy a new home? Suppose to be done properly. Our neighbours windows were all cracked when they moved in and their basement flowded twice. Our other neighbour their kitchen was damaged and that was a fight to get it replaced and that was within 30 days, I would never buy a home from them again. Buyer beware.

I bought a house from Paradise homes. Do not buy a home through them. I had several cracks. My basement leaked and there are several other cracks that they refuse to fix now since it is not leaking.
They said when we bought a house - that they would do things complimentary after one year as well - however, they had simply refused to fix things. The person leading the customer care department (Velda) is very rude.
DO NOT BUY HOMES FROM PARADISE HOMES

I have similar experience. They told different things at the time of sale and what they actually deliver is different and when you argue with them , they simply make excuses anfd refuse to deliver what they promise . Spread the words , please don't buy a home from them
