I’ve been taking my long-haired cat, Lucy, to Furry Friends for the past two years, and Chantal always does a wonderful job with her. Even though grooming isn’t Lucy’s favourite activity, Chantal is patient and gentle, and Lucy always comes home clean, fresh, and happy. Thank you, Chantal!

Summary: Inconsistent and not transparent pricing (got charged for service I did not ask for). Possibly cleaned ears against consent. Good job at grooming our dog.

Details: We specifically asked for a "Bath & Tidy" treatment for our Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain dog mix of 35 kg, who really only needed a bath and nail trim (which was communicated on the intake form and verbally when dropping him off). Based on the prices listed on their website I expected to pay between 70-90$ before tax, since he is a large dog, but certainly not a giant. He looked great when I picked him up, but I was charged 130$ before tax. I asked them to explain the pricing to me and I was told that double coated dogs can't get the "Bath & Tidy" package (which is stated on the website), despite the fact that my dog gets a bull body shave each spring with them, they didn't even have to clean his ears, and we brought our own allergy shampoo. I told them that I did not book or want a full groom, but the employee was not understanding. We also suspect they cleaned my dogs ears despite use specifically instructing them not to do that due to his reoccurring ear infections. When we picked him up, there was water in his ear and the front of the ear canal was very clean. I called them and left a message to call me back, but they did not so far.I will be looking for a different place in the future, since we have had service issues with them in the past (which they resolved to our satisfaction).

One of the best groomers in Ottawa! My Great Pyrenees absolutely loves coming here he’s been going since he was just 6 months old and now he’s 5. The team always does an amazing job, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and caring. Thank you for the great service and for always making him feel comfortable and happy! 🐾💛

I’m really pleased with the results! My cat is a rescue and can be quite vicious, so it’s always been very difficult to trim her nails or groom her. The groomers did an excellent job, they were patient, professional, and managed to safely shave off her deep mats and trim her nails too. She looks and feels so much better now. I’m very impressed with their skill and care, and I’ll definitely be coming back again in the future!

We’ve been coming here for almost two years now and Chantal always works magic on our Roxy. (See before and after pictures) After being groomed she looks like a young puppy and it seems to make her feel extra happy and her coat feels so good and soft.
Chantal is always very accomodating and is very kind and sweet to Roxy.
