Great place, we order here all the time, and they are the best.
I had an issue, 4 bundles wrong color, and called Jeff Barnard at 6pm on Tuesday. Not only did he answer, he exchanged the bundles that night. Who does that? Only SPAR!
Say all the negatives you want, ya they moved into a new place and needed to pave, which they did this year, but c'mon, NOBODY is better at roofing supplies than these guys.

I was sent here by my contractor to look at the displays. The girls who first helped us were terrific. My wife had lots of questions, so they introduced me to the manager who took the time to explain about shingles. This sure helped clear up our concerns. Although it is busy, they never made us feel rushed.

This is for the Winnipeg location. Parking lot is a mud pit, pot holes full of water swamp. Bring rubber boots. Contractors trucks and trailers blocking everything. Most trailers are full of shingle scraps and nails, which litter the ground. Once inside, contractors are given preference, private customers ignored. Waited almost an hour, no help, then left. From the minute you pull in (preferably with a 4x4) you can't help think "man, is this place ugly". Web site has three addresses, two are wrong. Nothing good to say. I would have given it no stars if I could.

I'm not sure who this applies to , service is terrible the take it or leave it attitude must be a requirement to work at this location! case and point I purchased custom bent moldings and fascia. Invoice#B590318 cost of fascia unit price 1.86$ a linear foot 7 3/4" girth total 14.88$ Invoice#B593081 cost of fascia unit price 4.37$ a linear foot 7 1/2" girth total 35.00$ I asked for reason for such a difference in pricing ? Sales person's response you are only buying 1 piece this time that is our price! I really want to deal with this company in the future! My rating is MINUS 1 although they don't have a box for that and you must enter a star rating to write a revue!

We have been in business 8 years. We have been with SPAR the entire time. Why? Because the manager knows what we do and works with us to get it done. All the products we use, knows about them and is happy to take the time to explain. Pricing is market driven. Ladies on the desk are so friendly
So many scammers, like the guy who wrote the last review, trying to burn homeowners, nice to see a company with ethics, like SPAR not caving to their bogus demands. Go ahead and flame them anonymously. The people who are in the know, know where to go! SPAR.

I am a customer that needed approx $180,000 in material. I spoke with the manager or supervisor Jeff Barnard. He wouldn't budge on any pricing. I even asked for just free delivery for a site close to spars office and he looked at me and laughed and said good luck getting better pricing elsewhere. This boy was the rudiest person I have ever dealt with. I asked to speak to the owner and he said that he doesn't give out the number and his boss would stand behind his decision anyway. In my opinion company's are supposed to work with there customers and he just blew me off like I was buying a vent. So I left and got 8 grand off from a more respectful company. They also have me free delivery. Wouldn't recommend anyone buying from this greasy company

We are happy we found this company. They fixed my roof without any headaches and they came in cheaper than the competition.

I needed a new roof. Many people I knew who recently replaced theirs recommended Spar and to see Jeff. So many choices and warranties. I was able to make an educated choice because Mr. Barnard spent close to an hour assisting me and patiently answering my many questions.
Thank you for the excellent service, the other people who sell roofing all told me to come to Spar. Now I know why!

This sure wasn't what I expected. Way way better. Everything involved with my roof is on display. The staff were very helpful gave me samples and addresses where I can see finished roofs. Met Jeff and he referred me to several roofing companies. I recommend making time t see this place before making an expensive decision.

We have hail damage, we were referred to Spar by our contractor, and they were terrific. All the staff answered our questions even gave us samples to take home. Met Jeff, he showed us so much.

Spent an afternoon talking with Jeff Barnard, Manager, and he explained the differences between the three shingle lines they carry. Never knew there were so many choices, as well, he provided samples and addresses where I could view projects with the type and colour I was interested in.
No one else in the city takes this amount of time to look after a contractor anymore. Thank you very much!

I liked the products that they sold that is why I went there in the first place. The service was less than ideal at the Winnipeg location and management took a 'take it or leave it ' attitude. It was no use talking with Jeff Barnard because his four letter conversations are not my cup of tea. So I left! If they choose to lose $350,000 a year in business from a AAA Purchaser, that's their loss.
