Dr. Tollefson is a professional statistician. She received her PhD and MS in statistics from Iowa State University. She also is educated in economics and physics. She is proficient in R and used SAS while at Iowa State. Since finishing her degree work in 1992, she has worked part time as a research assistant at Iowa State and as Adjunct Faculty at Iowa Central Community College. Since 2010, she has been building a business as a consulting statistician.
