Bought with Calbridge in Cochrane and house construction took forever. There was no communication from management about the delays. Management claims they knew nothing of our dissatisfaction despite constant complaints to sales staff and our lawyer contacting sales requesting they contact management to address complaints. They just do not care. In a service industry you would think customer service and reputation would matter but apparently not to Calbridge.

We bought a new house from Calbridge Homes and moved in lately, but it is a so bad experience to us. They turned our happiness into nightmare, and they do not care about your house, only care about earning your money. The house quality is not what they tell you, and they always push back/off the repairs, and even they promised you to get an defect/problem fixed, what would happen next is "waiting... with no response"!

I strongly DO NOT recommend my friends to buy a house from Calbridge Homes.

We bought a house from Calbridge Home, during the one-year walk through, we reported some problems of the house to the builder.
For example, the lights in our den is keep flashing when we use our printer, the second hall way floor are squeaking, the fireplace is not working at all, the dishwasher not working, the water drop directly from the eave-lead to the ground, the side walk are full of ice, the garage and drive way concrete are cracked and spalling badly.
We don’t understand why the house can have that many problems under the construction of the Calbridge, but as long as the builder can fix those problems, then we are ok with it. This is our first new house, we choose Calbridge to build our first new home because we trust Calbridge is a good builder, but until today we think we are totally wrong, we’re so disappointed with Calbridge.
Because only the fireplace and dishwasher are fixed (we contact Trail Appliance by ourselves to fix the dishwasher). Our lights in the den still flashing, our floor is still squeaking, especially the very bad quality concrete is getting worse and worse. During the one-year go through, the Service Tech told me will help us to fix the concrete problem when the weather getting warm and will contact the service company to find out how to fix it, then get back to us. But after one month, I still not get any feedback from him, so we contact him again, then he said we have to contact the Alberta new home program to report this problem. But the thing is we report the problem is during our one-year walk through, and the concrete is under one-year builder warranty. They have the responsibly to fix the bad quality concrete for us. I hope the Calbridge can fix the problems ASAP.

We purchased a Calbridge home in 2014 in Cochrane. Dealing with the sales staff was a positive experience. They are very knowledgeable about the product they sell. We love our home but the problem were having is once they sell you the house forget about trying to get anything fixed in a timely manner. We have had issues with our house that was addressed before we moved in and it is now 7 months later and still waiting for stuff to be fixed. We no longer deal with the person in charge of the warranty issues because no matter how many e mails you send count yourself lucky if you get a response. And in talking to this person it seems he doesn't know what he is talking about as we had to correct him on some structural issues. We now deal with his boss and its not off to a good start. I fail to see where the problem is in getting trades in to do repairs when they are throwing up houses all around you.

We possessed our house one month ago and there're already tonnes of problems, including: burnt element of the water heater, not connected faucet at the main bath, leaky shower in the ensuite, misaligned kitchen cabinets, disconnected faucet lines at the kitchen.... the shower at the ensuite is still not fixed and it has been more than 2 weeks. The person responsible for the builder's warranty is unfriendly and basically assume everything is the house owner's fault before investigating.

We would probably not to choose this builder next time when we decide to build a house.
