Baywest is a production builder that does not build custom homes to satisfactory standards according to many homeowners. If you want 3/5 on Construction/Site Team; 3/5 on Home Readiness 2/5 on Home Readiness; 2/5 on Service/Warranty Staff; 2/5 on Price/Value and 3/5 on Workmanship and Materials, then build with Baywest. If you want more than that, then find yourself a 5 star custom builder through the JD Powers website, referrals and doing your own research. We had a custom home built by Baywest and were very very unhappy. They were an estate builder in Mahogany – The Community of the Year, but they are no longer building here because they are not selling houses, where the other builders are. Hopewell has booted them out and replaced them with another builder. Bye Bye Baywest.

We purchased a home from Baywest in Calgary's Mahogany. We have been incredibly impressed with our home thus far. The process was mostly simple despite a few small complications with our customization plans. We are now moved in and we are enjoying our new home.

All in all while the experience was not perfect I would (and have) recommend Baywest Homes to friends and family looking to build a new home.

The neighborhood is also great and we're really enjoying getting to know our new neighbors.
