Bridals on Spadina

I found THE dress here by complete coincidence on a Sunday afternoon. Since I teach overseas with my fiance, I had very limited time in Toronto to look for my wedding gown, MY MOH and I were killing time between appointments and stumbled upon this shop on the second floor. Actually, I didn't even see the sign, it was such a hidden gem (my best friend saw it!)

We went inside and I instantly felt comfortable and at ease-Nicole is lovely to work with and is hilarious. She listens to what you want and has a great eye for what will suit you. The first dress I tried on there, I knew it was THE dress. After horrible experiences at 5 different shops around Toronto, I was starting to lose hope and I am so grateful that we found this place! I brought my mom the next morning and purchased it!

My mom and I went to bridal gown shopping over the weekend, having no expectation that we could find anything for my wedding in January.

We went to a big bridal shop, packed with people, none of the bride look happy with the gown. We turned our way, then decided to go downtown Toronto just to try our luck.

As I read many good things about this Bridals on Spadina place. My mom and I paid a visit to this nice little shop. "You don't have to go to a big store with many dresses to find your wedding dress, all you need is the ONE dress", said Nicole's mom, (sorry not very good with my memory).

Nicole is the bubbly, fun, easy going shop owner you who will make your day. (at least your gown shopping part very easy) Nicole and her mom worked as a team. Since I brought my mom for gown shopping, my mom and Nicole's mom instantly bonded.

I showed Nicole and her mom what I had in mind but keeping also an open mind to try on anything, they instantly picked 6 dresses for me. With my petite size, I thought I will be trying on potato sack all day. No, that wasn't the case at all with my experience at the Bridal on Spadina. Nicole and her mom have very good eyes and knew exactly what would fit me (of course with some minor alternation).

One thing to mention, you cannot ask for better price for your wedding gown. Of course, they have the veil just to fit your gown too.

A friend recommended it and I had a GREAT experience. I found a dress I love, at a great price. Nicole is wonderful, fun and real.
I highly encourage anyone to check it out if they are wedding dress shopping.

Nicole was absolutely wonderful to deal with. My mom, my aunt and I drove down to downtown Toronto to find a Mother of the Bride dress for her to wear to my wedding. Bridals on Spadina was right beside where we parked. Although it is a small store, there is a great selection of different dresses. Nicole was amazing, and really listened to what my mom was looking for. She was not afraid to be honest, and had great suggestions on what would look great on my mom. We purchased a beautiful dress for my mom and are so happy. I will definitely be recommending Nicole to anyone I know who is engaged. I highly recommend this store!
