HORRIBLE HORIBLE EXEPRIENCE.......
First of all...when you walk in the door, they don't even acknowledge your presence, they continue doing their own thing, until you've waited 15 minutes for them to even ask if you're there for something.
However i fell in love with a 1500$ dress...which was over my budget but I still decided to get it....I got measured for it and ordered it ahead of time by a lot of months to make sure it comes in on time. When my dress did come in it was wrapped in a pink garbage bag and was 2 sizes to large and I had to pay 500$ to get my 1500$ dress altered to even fit into it! I got my personal seamstress to alter my dress because I was not going to risk it to have them alter my dress. They refused to give me a proper bag for my dress until my fiancé came in and he was the one who had to complain to them in order for them to give me a proper bag dress which they wanted 30$ for.

I also made the mistake of ordering my bridesmaid dresses from them.. My bridesmaids all came in at different times to get measured..bought dresses worth over 200$ and when their dresses came in.. they were either gigantic on them or too tight!
Why am I paying 200$ for a dress that is not even the right size and need to pay another 100$ to get altered.

I had heard rumours and read reviews about how brides and belles is awful, but I did not chose to listen to it and give them a chance.

I would never ever recommend anyone to get a dress from them and their service SUCKS...the staff is not helpful and not one bit friendly. Do not make the mistake of going there and giving yourself an unnecessary headache and lose so much money when a wedding already costs thousands of dollars.

Staff was extremely rude and not helpful what so ever. I will not be going back, nor would i recommend anyone else going there either.

While shopping for bridesmaids dresses, I had called ahead to make an appointment for a Saturday afternoon, and was advised that appointments were not necessary. We were not greeted upon entering the shop, nor were we asked if we needed assistance.

The bridesmaid dresses were outdated, and were not well organized.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing in comparison to all other bridal shops in Saskaroon. I would not recommend shopping here.

Bought my daughter's grad dress here in '11. Service was ok. Bought the dress off the rack. Needed a little alteration/repair. They noted the repairs - when I came back for the dress, nothing had been done and we had to make ANOTHER trip in, but the dress was good, so no harm, no foul, right?
Decided to return here for my daughter's wedding dress in '14. Again, service was sub-par. Pulled a lot of dresses on our own and helped my daughter in and out of her dresses with no support. Was fine with me. Don't always like being hovered over either. Found the dress and it fit her fine. Should have bought off the rack and been done with it but they insisted we order a new one in and "order a size up 'cause every dress fits differently and they could always alter it". Mistake #1. Dress came in earlier than expected...yay! But we made at least 5 trips to Saskatoon (we are from out of town and round trip is almost an hour and a half) Sometimes it felt like nothing was being done, or the changes made were so minute. Wish they would have made the changes all at once and only 2 fittings would be necessary. Alterations cost us another $500 because we had ordered a size larger and had to take it in. But what do I know about alterations. Bottom line - dress was in on time and my daughter looked gorgeous for her special day.
The main reason I'm giving a bad review is the bridesmaid dress. We ordered it at the same time as the wedding gown (Aug) Only one dress. That's it. Nothing special, nothing fancy. We mentioned we had seen it online substantially cheaper and we were laughed at and told you NEVER order overseas 'cause you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. REALLY?? Interesting. Wedding gown arrived in November (wow!!) so we figured they had goofed when they told us the bridesmaid dress would be HERE (note the operative word) then and the gown would be more like December. Christmas comes and goes and no word on the dress. So I called and asked about it. They'd get back to me. Nothing. Called back - they answered and when I said who I was, they hung up on me?!? I called back and wanted to know what that was all about. "We didn't hang up on you"! Wow - calling me a liar? So every week after that I was calling. Now it's at customs...1st they tell me it's stuck in Vancouver, then they tell me it's stuck in Toronto...??? I finally got really angry and told them "when you tell me my dress will be HERE (note the word!) I understand that to mean HERE in the store, not somewhere on the continent!! Reassurance after reassurance - "we've never had this trouble before". We will have the dress in time. Don't worry...blah blah blah! Bottom line...bridesmaid dress came just over a week before the wedding. Oh, it came in all right, but not without a LOT of stress. They never apologized, never admitted to any mistakes being made. My thots (can't confirm) - when we ordered the dresses, they made sure the gown got ordered immediately but the bridesmaid dress got forgotten because it was only one dress and they probably don't take as long to come in. I think when I called in December, they went "oh crap we forgot all about this dress" and ordered it from China or something and that's when we ran into the delays, whether before or after customs.
All I would have liked was honesty. To constantly tell me it will be in and then it isn't, is not cool. Admit you screwed up. Would have saved a lot of stress when that's the last thing you need planning a wedding.
Sorry Brides N Belles - no recommendation from me. I'm giving 1 star because I have to in order to post this review.

I am a bride and have had nothing but issues with this store! I bought my dress and my maids also bought their dresses here. My dress came back waaaaaay too small (after I had been sized before ordering) and two of my four maids dresses came back 2 sizes AND 5 sizes tooo big!! WTF, how does that even happen? Seriously, and here I thought it would be a nightmare ordering a dress online! I give Deb credit, shes a nice lady, but seriously they need to update their system and find a better way to do things. I will NOT be returning my buisness and I will NOT be reccomending this store to anyone...

My best job was there great and fun, and Debi and the staf care,and we help all the brids and everybody,

I've been a regular at Brides N Belles ever since my grade twelve graduation, back in 1998!! Debbie and her crew have always been awesome, attentive, and knowledgeable! I am a very conscientious consumer, I shop around for the best deals. Brides N Belles has VERY fair pricing. The ONE and ONLY instance that I've found a better price at another Saskatoon bridal shoppe, they price matched for my friend's wedding dress! Fantastic business, no regrets. They are also a lot more down-to-earth than some of the other Saskatoon bridal shoppes.

My two bridesmaids and my Maid of Honour bought their dresses at Brides n Belles. I had a horrible alteration experience at another store and only wish I had been to this boutique first!! One of my bridesmaids had to fly out from the east coast for my wedding so she ordered her dress over the phone, she gave them her measurements and the dress fit her so well on her first fitting, had to be taken out a little but I was impressed with how well they handled the situation, being that the dress had to be discussed over the phone exclusively, fitted and altered within only a couple days before my wedding! My bridesmaid couldn't fly in any sooner but Brides N Belles handled it so well. They had the alterations done within days for my bridesmaids, dozens of prom dresses and one seamstress!! I was so impressed, the alteration costs were comparable as well and the owner was so friendly! I could see the dozens of styles and colors of dresses when I walked in through the door for the first time and there was no hesitation to get service!

I went into the store to sign up for a wedding expo. I hadn't yet been dress shopping. When I walked in there was a sales lady pulling dresses for another girl and she didn't even say hi, or I will be right with you. I stood at the front desk and could see that all three workers were helping ONE girl. I stood there for ten minutes being COMPLETELY ignored and then realized that the entry forms for the bridal show were just sitting on the desk for everyone to see. I could see everyone who was going to the show and their address! Great way for identity theft to happen. This total lack of privacy as well as how rudely I was treated makes me NEVER want to go in that store ever again! After reading other reviews on here I am amazed this place is still in business. Glad I checked it out before I chose dress shops to look at.

I recently received my wedding dress from Brides and Belles. The service when I ordered the wedding dress (and the Bridesmaid dresses) was great, however I paid extra for the rush delivery of my dress - I was told it would be here February 5th, it actually did not arrive until later February. I drove into Saskatoon immediately and had the first of what would become 5 fittings (5 trips into Saskatoon)!

The staff during the fittings were quite rude, whispering about us in the back room loud enough that we could hear them. My Matron of Honor was furious and if my wedding had not been the next week we would have left with the dress and had the alterations done elsewhere.

At my final fitting the owner Deb made sure she was there and she handled my final fitting and last minute alterations herself. I greatly appreciated Deb and she was a great help. In short, if you can - deal directly with Deb, she cares about making you feel good and look great. The other staff there did not seem to care.

Recently I went to Saskatoon to go dress shoping, I walked into a couple shops and they were crowded, loud and no one was around to help me. FinallyI went to Brides n Belles and I couldn't ask for better service. The girls there were amazing, theres no other way to describe it. I would definately recommend going there, they were also very reasonably priced compared to some of the places I have been. Just over all a great store.

I loved the dress I got, but would go to another store if I knew how I would be treated after buying the dress. After you commit to a dress, this shop treats you horribly rude and as if you are an inconvenience to them. Their delivery timings are completely off; my dress came in about 1 month later then they originally said, and no one takes responsibility for mixed messages. Also, after mulitple dress fittings with little getting achieved, I ended up with a alteration bill of nearly $300. If you have other options, use them!

I had the best experience at Brides N belles, I bought my wedding gown, and bridesmaids there. they made me feel important and yet made it fun, highly recommend you go there,always have time for you and it is a friendly comfortable feeling with the staff.
