Bridal Village & Dress Shop

Although it has been a while, (i got married in July 2008), my dress shopping experience was great. I walked in 20 minutes before closing time, not really expecting anything, told the sales lady what kind of dress I was looking for. She showed me 3, and I bought the 3rd one. 😊 While paying, my maid of honour was looking around, and found her perfect dress right there and then. For my bridesmaid, they helped me order online. Was amazing. My only complaint is with the alteration lady, who kept making mistakes with the zipper, but after going in 3 times for it, finally got it right.

Yes Jolene, it was a very uncomfortable experience. What you forgot to mention in your review is that your mother is the manager of another local bridal salon, which would be fine with me if she had come in and introduced herself, but she didn't, I just happened to recognize her.
Still, we picked the first 2 dresses together and you said you liked lace and the fit and flare, so I brought you 2 more of those to try on.
We do help our brides with the gowns, but sometimes they do ask if they can get ready by themselves and we are happy to allow that. I think your grandmother appreciated being able to sit in a chair while she was here. For the most part, our brides love our big, private rooms where they don't have to go out into the middle of the store to see themselves.

I just got married in December and my dress and my bridesmaids dresses were all from Bridal Village. I can't believe they have any bad reviews! We never had the slightest problem and we were all thrilled with the way our dresses looked. I recommend them to all my friends

I ordered my dress from this shop. The service was okay, not rude but definately not too helpful either. I do believe that some of the clerks could use and implement some knowledge on customer service, however; there was 2 people there who were extremely helpful and very delightful! One I believe may be the owner of the store and the other a young petite dark haired woman. The seamstress is not very friendly. Infact, seems ticked at having to do any adjustments and had to be asked/told twice that the hips were too big and needed taken in. Needless to say she half heartedly pinned the sides in. I am worried about her ability to sew! Over all I will be recommending friend to go to another store if the service doesn't increase by the time i take my dress from the store.

The Customer service in this store is rediculous! The ladies who work there are very rude. My best friend and I were treated like garbage (and this is after I already paid for my dress). I feel sick to my stomach about purchasing my dress from this store; If I had'nt already given them money I would have never put up with the way they treated me.

Also my dress is very poor quality (I realize this too late). So ladies be careful when selecting your dress!
