WORST DRESS STORE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! RATING DEFINITELY= 0 !!!!!!!!!!
I went to the store a month before my engagement . The sales lady who was co-owner helped me find a dress. She assured me that the dress i picked; the alteration lady would custom the dress to my body. I paid the price of the dress and was told to pay the alternation amount after i go in for my second fitting which would take 3.5 weeks.

As it got closer to the date i was told to go in for my final fitting; I called to follow up. No one called me from the store. This was the response i recieved from the staff: “ you called and mentioned someone in your family passed away so put the dress on hold” . After i heard that my anxiety went off the roof. After being on hold for 20 mins; i was told that it was a misunderstanding on the staff part; it was someone else who called and wanted their dress on hold; they had the same color as my dress.

A dress store that big with different types and colors; it was very disappointing to know that they did not ask the name/number of the person but rather assumed. Being the kind of person i was; i was like its okay i still have a couple of days remaining; i can go in 3 days before my engagement and pick up the dress.

The day i picked up my dress was on a sunday. I tried the dress 🤦‍♀️ it was not what i was told my alterations would be. Nothing was done to the dresss. The only thing done was the cleavage area.

The staff member kept dismissing the issue and mentioning the fact that i should come again another day. I was fumming and heated. I made them call the co-owner ( i think her name was dahlia), she was so disgusting and non apologetic. She actually told my fianace that she probably gained weight; thats why the dress does not fit her. For someone to be a “co-owner” that was such a disgusting and unprofessional thing to say. I did not except that from her being the co-owner.

I just wanted my money back at that point. After going back and forth for 3 hrs; she finally agreed to give me my money the next day. The sales lady told me to come at 7pm on Monday. Her tone made me second guess her. I went home and checked the store hrs; they actually close at 6 on Mondays. That was just very disappointing 🤦‍♀️. I got there at 550pm; their faces turned white. I made sure i made a scene at the store. I was so upset. I got my money and left.

Overall, this is the WORST place to buy your dresses ladies for your special day. Save your time and money and buy from somewhere else. They do not have proper customer service skills, no empathy; and zero professionalism . The fact that they dont trouble themselves to do their job properly and just assume is just not exceptable. I gave them the benefit of the day; but in return they took advantage of my kindness. Being in the industry that they are in; its very disappointing that they do that to clients. They promise one thing and do another. I would NEVER go to this place again. I know this has happend to others; as per the reviews. Iam glad people are speaking out and informing others.

I ended up getting a dress from another store; much prettier and with lovely sales people.

They definitely need to invest time in training their staff and themselves on how to deal and communicate with customers.

IN CONCLUSION; LADIES DO NOT SHOP HERE! YOU WILL DEFINITELY THANK ME !!!!!

terrible customer service. i am plus size bride and when i called to ask if they have any plus size bridal gowns they said yes upon arrival i was met with a rude unknowledgeable consultant (side not: she was wearing running shoes which doesn’t seem professional) who told me that there was nothing in my size as she had told me on the phone. this was a ploy to get me into the store. absolute waste of time, send your money elsewhere!

Love going to this store they are all so welcoming and inviting here! They have amazing dresses for great prices! I would definitely recommend coming here to get your wedding dress or evening gowns!

One of the best places I have ever gone to! They were so helpful and so nice! I would also like to inform you all that they have new management and they are amazing! They helped me find my dream wedding dress! I also got my bridesmaids and mother of the bride gowns from this store! Because of how great the service is and how stunning the dresses they have are! I would absolutely recommend this store 100%

Now I understand this was 27 yrs ago but because of the horrific stories I have read on here I felt that it's appropriate to share so that others can make a better informed decision. I ordered my dress when this company was on Spadina about a year before my wedding. This was a time when there were no cell phones etc so taking photos was really not heard of, unless you brought your huge camera from home. Anyway, move ahead to 3 days before my wedding. Went in for what was suppose to be the final try on and pick up of my dress. I had the dress on and something wasn't right. My dress has lace roses all along the train which was expansive, and hem of the dress. I was more then sure that when I tried the dress on it was all beaded, but this dress didn't have any beading on the hem whatsoever. I asked the owner, and she said oh no there was no beading. I then asked to see the sample dress, and she quickly responded that they didn't have the dress there anymore. Well, I think someone I love was watching over me that day because not 30 seconds later a woman walks out of a change room WEARING THE SAMPLE DRESS! So I proceeded to ask, hmmm so what is that? The owner was red faced and said oh sorry I thought we didn't have it. Of course the dress WAS BEADED. So I was upset of course because this should have been done already. The owner says no worries we will have the ladies stay all night if they have too to bead each flower. ok fine, so the next day I receive a call and she says well it's impossible to have them all beaded, we will bead every second one. Um well I said, I don't think so, how bout you do all of them and you will get paid in full. If you don't do all of them you won't see the rest of what I owe you? She proceeds to yell at me and threating me with not giving me my dress. Lets say the conversation didn't go as she planned because she agreed to bead all the roses. I picked up my dress on FRIDAY NIGHT at 10 pm the night before my wedding day! So it seems that even if they have changed owners, they haven't changed their ways. Employees were welcoming and very helpful. I found my prom dress very easily and am very pleased with what I found and my experience. They made suggestions based on what I liked and were able to find the perfect dress!

There are so many better bridal stores. I went there and ordered something..then went back to try and get my $100 deposit back the next day and they said 'no'. I couldn't believe it. I am out $100 and didn't get anything for it. I feel so ripped off. Stay away from here.

It's a shame everyone has had such horrible experiences, but the new owners are great! Dalal and Mary are quick with measurements and offer amazing deals vs. other stores in the area!!! We saw our bridesmaid dresses in 4 stores and got the best deal here!
Ordered in January and received them in April- without and problems or delays!
So excited, as these dresses are beautiful!!!

Great services and wonderful staff, I am so happy and lucky to get a chance and buy a dress from Chez Jordan Corp. I thought I didn't have enough time to get what I had in my mind but they helped me a lot and I would like to thank Dalal for her hard work and she spend time and found my dream dress not only sold me a dress but she ordered a dress and covered other hidden fees. They made me feel very special and took my order then confirmed it and they surprised me by getting my dress much sooner than I thought. Any time I need a dress I know where to go to and I am so proud of them they are wonderful...they work to make customer happy not only selling and making money....I felt I wanted to give them more than what they asked me. Very nice experience and I would love to go back again and again. Do not listen to some of their bad reviews, because most of their bad reviews are from prior owner. The owner has been changed and they have a manager, Customer services, Alterations ladies who did wonderful work and charged me very reasonable price. they gave me an estimated amount for my alteration between $ 75 and 150 they charged me only $ 50. and wonderful sales people and very professional.

BUYERS BEWARE! YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ORDERED. I have had an insanely horrific experience at this store. Myself and my bridesmaids went into the store in October and they all tried on one sample dress that we fell in love with. The only issue was the color and the jewel belt, no problem we were told. We can notify the dressmaker to not include the jewel belt and you can pick a color from a swatch book. I picked a color and was also given a sample of it to take home to show my friends and use to compare for decor. The sales lady wrote on the receipt the specific color I ordered and to not include the jewel belt. My bridesmaids were then measured waist, bust, hips and length, with an additional 1 inch added to each length JUST TO BE SURE it would fit PERFECT. I will order all 5 dresses for over $300 each which is a lot of money but for custom fit and color it will be worth it.
I received a phone call in December notifying me that my dresses had arrived. I made an appointment for January for myself and some of my bridesmaids to come in see the dresses and try them on. When we arrived we were not spoken to by anyone for 10-15minutes and then led upstairs to a warehouse like area with dirty floors and dresses on racks, including ‘change rooms’ in which the doors did not even close the entire way and had someone’s shoes in them. Our dresses were still in the packages, not steamed or prepared for us (didn’t I make an appointment a month ago?) the jewel belts which we specifically requested to not have were ON the dress (not to mention they were not even the same jewel belt that was on the original sample dress my bridesmaids tried on) and the color was wrong. I noticed right away it was similar, but not the color that I SIGNED FOR, PAID FOR AND FELL IN LOVE WITH. This was fraud. The saleslady proceeded to acknowledge that it was the wrong color and asked me if I liked it, in which I replied “it’s okay……” (while freaking out inside). None of the sizes fit the girls in any way whatsoever, not sure why we even took measurements because that was useless. We were then told that they order “whatever size is closest to the measurements”. It would have been nice to have been told that initially instead of being deceived in the way we were. We were all so horribly disappointed by the ‘custom dresses’ that arrived but decided to try to stay positive and paid our remaining balance. The following day we phoned the store and expressed that we were upset it was not the right color, the sales lady responded that she agreed it was not the color and would call the dress manufacturer and call us back. We never received a call back. I called back numerous times during the week and was yelled at, spoken over and flat out LIED TO by the sales lady ‘manager’ (and self proclaimed owner, although she was not the owner she stated that she is the owner when the actual owner is not on site). I was told that she called me and asked me if it was okay that I would not be receiving the color I ordered, but something very similar. This was a complete lie as I received no such phone call. No one would give us the name of the owner, contact information, hours that he would be on site and would not give him MY number and name to contact me. An owner that is not available to customers? Wow. After being lied to and yelled at by an employee on numerous occasions because she refused to give me a refund, which is what I am now asking for because I received a dress that is not the color I ordered and have lost all trust with them, we went into the store to continue to demand a refund. Ultimately we were not given a refund and I have now spent over $1000 and have nothing to show for it. I’ll end this here but there were more horrific instances that occurred from disrespect, lies, and being yelled at on numerous occasions. BEWARE BUYERS, DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEFS AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. YOU WILL BE FITTED FOR A CUSTOM COLOR AND SIZED DRESS AND RECEIVE SOMETHING THAT IS NONE OF THAT.

Got my dress for my daughters wedding was not altered properly then when I went back after wedding my dress was hung as a sample !!! My dress that I paid 800.00 for was on the floor with the other dresses for people to try on horrible place do not go in there worse service owners ever!!!

My fiance was looking for a wedding dress, and she had the worst experience at CHEZ JORDANS so called bridal store.
the service was awful and the dresses where old and outdated they ask her when she was getting married, when she told them he said come back 2 months before the wedding, and your size may be smaller by then.
Bad old place to shoppe for your special day.

Be careful DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE

They were recommended to me by someone who was never actually there. Although the dresses were nice, the old ladies who work there are very crabby and mean. They constantly commented on how "big" one of my bridesmaid was and gave attitude freely as if they were doing us a favour.

The worst part was that it took 4 months for the dresses to come in but they forgot one...It's now 2 weeks to my wedding and one of my bridesmaids has no dress! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PLACE! THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU AND IGNORE YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS!!!!

They're dresses are NOTHING special and can be made by a skilled seamstress for a fraction of the cost!

Beware!!!
