Tiffany NY Bridals, Vancouver Reviews (2)
I came to Tiffany with great expectations and left with a big disappointment.
As a bridesmaid I decided to look way in advance and have the dress on time for the August wedding.
The dress should suite me and have a particular colour.
But read yourself, the story speaks for itself.
March :
Looking for dress. Dress found and paid the full price.
Mid July:
Follow up call. Tiffany:" No Dress Yet"
End of July:
Phone call from Tiffany: "Dress arrived"
Fitting appointment scheduled.
Few days later at the appointment: "Sorry, wrong dress". Model wrong but colour correct.
Tiffany sends an emergency email to head office.
A week later a phone call from Tiffany: " Dress has arrived but with some mark-ups on the fabric."
Me: "What? How is this possible? What markups?"
Tiffany: "I don't know yet. The dress will arrive next week. You should come and have a look".
Appointment scheduled again.
Mid August at the appointment I look at the dress. The Mark-up said "Sample".
I also noticed that the dress was the one I tried on in March at my first visit. At that time it was too small.
They gave me a dress I already tried on in March and has been worn by others for a price of a new one. A scandal!
They promised me to remove the marks and call me for final alteration.
At the final alteration I noticed that they have shorten the dress because the mark-up couldn't be removed. A big shock!
I made mine point that I'm not happy about the service and I won't pay the full price for a second hand dress which is now out of proportions due to the alteration.
Tiffany tried to calm me down saying that I'm a very patience customer. I just couldn't believe what I just heard.
To make it worst they promised to give me a discount by my second visit. They really believed that I would come again. What kind of business is that?!
At the end I got $50 discount and I didn't have to pay for the alterations.
I still don't know how they make business. Never again!!!
