Had the exact same experience as the person who wrote the terrible review in 2013... As soon as they have your money they become very rude and nickel and dime you for everything. They put on a huge act, don't fall for it... Buy your stuff elsewhere.

Don't give these guys anything.

After reading the previous review, I couldn't help but post my own experience. I also came to Sunny's from out of town to get my wedding outfits as I heard they were super professional and would get the job done right.

She's so nice when she's trying to sell you something, but the minute you pay for it, you are no longer of concern to her. She talks herself up and convinces you she'll make anything you want and it'll be perfect. I had my outfits custom made and both of them were NOT what I asked for when they came back. When you try to explain this to her, she'll make up excuses and try to convince you that this is what I asked for. For the piece I insisted on having sent back and remade, she charged me again. When that came back, it was also came back different from the sketch she had made with me in front of her. As for the other, we ended up making alterations and the workmanship was so poor, it was unwearable.

I reached out to her several times with no response. So here I am back in my hometown with 2 outfits that I absolutely hate 2 months before my wedding. Thanks for royally f***ing that up, Sunnys.

My mother was terminally sick with cancer. She came with my dad to see me try a potential wedding dress. She was rude, disrespectful and ruined my wedding shopping career with my mom. My mom has passed away. But it still upsets me. That was the only day my mom was able to come out with me for wedding shopping. It was a mother and daughter experience. I am so disappointed with the terrible customer service and insensitivity.

I am never going to this place again, she is a manipulative person, at first she will be nice to you and will assure you that she is taking care of you, but when it comes to helping customer she will charge you for everything.

I went there for my fiance and my wedding outfit, she tells us one price for example 500 dollars then she assures you that not to worry everything will be perfect and that she has been doing this business for 25 years. she will take your measurements and then at the end charge you 800 dollars. when we ask why did it go up so much. then in Hindi she will say like oh darling you are customizing it shipping and all of that costs so you have to pay for it. she is a very tricky women. she will never tell you the details off ripping you off and after all the hard work and journey she will rip you off. secondly before you can see the finishing product she asks you to pay in full. we say why do we have to pay in full and not half and she gives us the excuse that oh we have to pay the people in India that is going to make it if you dont pay it in full then we can not make it. so we pay her and go back to Seattle waiting 8 weeks for our wedding outfit to come in. when we go back my fiance sherwani is super small. she is so f*ing tricky that when i went to the fitting room to try on she takes the chance to let him try his on when i am not looking so i wont able to pick out any flaws. she says oh ya he tried it and everything is perfect. we come back driving 600 miles i ask my fiance hey can you try it on for me because i did not get to see it .so i help him put on the serwain and i try to close all the buttons it is super tight and short. i asked him did she close the buttons there he said no! i said well why not! honestly we were so tired driving so far he was too tired to think about that. any how i call her and tell her the situation and she tells us okay no problem why dont you bring it i will fix it dont worry about a thing.

my fiance and i take another long journey we go to her store and she stares at the serwani and tells us that he gained weight. how can someone gain so much weigh in three weeks. then she said hey that's okay dont worry again and took his measurement down again and says she will make us a new one not to worry we will have it ready. so my fiance and i get very excited that she will exchange it at no cost. at the end she starts helping this other people and tells her coworker who is a rude uneducated who does not know how to be respectful takes us to the counter and tells us now you have to pay us 800 dollars. we say but why this should be an exchange. she is so rude and tells us why we are making you a new one and i said yes because the previous one you made it too small. we already spent 800 dollars . so she calls the main owner who is so tricky. i tell her that you just said you will make us a new one and she said yes i have to charge for that and the one . than what will we do with this one that we spend so much money on. she said well i cant do anything about this one. we were so shocked how sneaky she was totally took advantage of us because she can tell that we dont shop much at Indian stores. and just left us with no option. not only that we spent so much money on his outfit but we traveled so much with lots of hope that she would fix this. because she made us believe that she was going to take care of it obviously lesson learned that she did not., she does not live up to her words she is sneaky and will rip you off. at the end when we said what can be done than she said there is nothing else that can be done. i am sorry. she was rude careless she does not care about your hard working money. I hope karma will come to her. i am not trying to be mean but she really broke our heart and let us down. our hard earned money went down the drain. i dont even know what to do anymore and my wedding is in two months.

I did all my wedding shopping from Sunny's Bridal and I must say it was one of the best shopping experience I have had. Not only were the staff extremely professional and courteous, the knew their stuff and were able to get me exactly what I wanted.

I highly recommend Sunny's to anyone looking to do their wedding shopping. I was planning on going to India but decided not to after hearing all the horror stories.
