Advice to potential customers before you consider this tire shop. Because of many good reviews that was reason why I chose them last summer, a) bought a set of Bridgestones Snows with an online rebate of $70, b) changed tires and c) had them stored my four season tires. I called them at 10:00 am April 13, 2020 to speak with 'someone' and book appointment to change tire on May 2, Sat. I asked for last appointment of the day, I was told they close at noon. They booked me at 11:30 am. I was glad and smart enough to give them a confirmation call 9:05 am April 30 to reconfirm my next day appointment. I was told 1) they were not open the next day 2) they did not had technician 3) they did not had any booked appointment for May 2 for me. My experience with this shop: 1) When I first visited last year, I was told by Max if I bought Bridgestones Snows and would get online rebate of $70, however, I got only $40 from Bridgestone. I said nothing. 2) When I called April 30 to confirm, the guy who picked up the phone was not helpful. I explicitly explained to him when I booked my appointment on April 13, whoever answered the phone and booked my appointment reassured me if any change about the hours would give me a call. Then that 'guy' was not helpful at all. How can their staff picked up a phone, booked an appointment, ignored booked customers? This time I asked to speak with Max again and he was, I would say rude, saying I should go booking online and no one has issue with it. So anyone wants to visit this shop ensure you can speak with a computer and do not trust any 'live' person in the shop because they could not keep a promise. The reason I write this review is to let everyone know we are all under pandemic stress. But it's a kindergarten mistake that they are making by messing up appointment. By claiming a $70 rebate and at the end customer got $40? By booked appointment with a live person and be blamed I had not done so online! Lastly, I had one of my stored tires had flat/damage issue since last year when Max took over them he said he'd fix it when I had my tire change this year. Because of the mess up of my appointment, I had to look for alternative to fix/change a damaged tire. Hey, since I called at 9:05 am April 30 and I was told no technician was available May 2, Max did agreed to squeeze me in next week. However of personal planning and a lot of shuffling, I told Max I would pick up my stored tires April 30 5:00 pm. Since they had from 9am until late afternoon, they had not done anything to check my tires, suggested a repair nor recommend a new tire..... Left me in such an awkward situation making phone calls to other tire change shop. In order to attend any kind of booked appointment, I had to ask for early leave from work, paid for nanny service to take care of my child etc etc which I believe that most adults have plans. I wish customer service could be improved by this shop especially the staffs' attitude, as I quote the guy who spoke on the phone in response to my non-existent appointment, he said "this is not my job"!!!! Nonetheless, after all the struggle and torture being given to me, Max did try to look for a used tire and gave it to me for free. THANK YOU. However, if anyone wants to stay invulnerable in a civilized country, regardless of work, health, business, PAY respect, DELIVER integrity and SHOW passion to your job is vital to keep your business alive and deserve real good reviews from customers.
