C-Ment Concrete Services

On May 20th 2015 I got a Quote from Jiimy from C-ment Concrete Services LTD to remove and replace my old driveway and sidewalks. The quote was for $18,000 minus $1000.00 if my neighbor got his driveway done. My neighbor did get his work done with the understanding that a"lip" would have to be installed between our properties to facilitate proper water drainage to the front of our property. This"lip" turned into a 9-inch concrete "scraping" hazard to my vehicles. After talking to John, he agreed to fix it. Instead of reducing the wall he poured between our properties to the u201clipu201d that was agreed upon, John raised my driveway by putting more road crush down. On June 24th 2015 the work was done and the bill was paid. The final price was $17,800 because I had decided to also get the front steps replaced and after talking to John of C-ment this was the agreed upon price. Starting the middle of August cracks had started forming on driveway and walkways. More cracks appeared until most of my driveway was covered with deteriorating cracks. During this period I had been in email contact with John of C-ment Concrete making sure that my warranty was still valid and a plan was in place to fix the problem. I was assured that he knew there was a problem that would be fixed and to show u201cpatience.u201d I sent an email to update John that the driveway had crumpled up the siding on my house over the previous winter. So far C-ment has not done anything to to fix the problem which they admit exists.
