Cecily Rodgers Counseling, PLLC

Passionate about Counseling and the Field of Psychology Cecily is a licensed professional counselor. One of her favorite comments from a client is, “I didn’t know I could learn so much about myself in one hour”. Cecily is known by her clients and colleagues as a very compassionate and caring counselor. One of Cecily’s colleagues sought her counsel stating, “I came to you because of the way that you carry yourself. You care more about your clients than I ever will”. Cecily is passionate about the field of Psychology, earning graduate degrees in both Experimental Psychology and Counseling Psychology.

Therapeutic Approaches Cecily’s counseling methods are empirical, creative, and thoughtful. She offers play therapy and sand tray therapy with children and adolescents. She often uses music with teens to learn more about them and enter their world. She also uses art, bibliotherapy, journaling, and poetry to help clients who are creatively minded. She even offers outdoor counseling in the beautiful private gardens behind the Keller office. Cecily typically draws from several different therapeutic approaches in therapy, primarily using cognitive behavioral therapy and insight based methods.
