It started in the summer of 2013. We set out to find edgy, ornate, one-of-a-kind furnishings to adorn our homes that did not look like your typical big box store inventory. Though we did find some interesting pieces which cater to an alternative, macabre loving market, none of it seemed tasteful enough or exquisite enough for a more sophisticated connoisseur. And as for the items we did find, they were simply not local to the GTA. A serendipitous moment was born and a clear vision emerged. Exquisite Macabre. One of a kind furniture with a story to tell.
