Sunridge Bottle Depot

The cashier/owner tried to rip me off by 40 bucks, when I called him out on it (obviously upset) he snapped into "small man" personality disorder, told me not to come back and then further tried to intimidate me by withholding my money and stood up behind his grimey plastic glass to further intimidate and "stare" Me down.I recycle to try and reduce my carbon footprint, I don't need the money, but I'm no dummy, scammers are scammers and I wasn't about to be played. Don't go to this depot, it's putrid, and clearly the owner has mental problems.

While this depot is cleaner and always count the bottles correctly, they do not bother adhering to business hours. They are supposed to be open until 5pm every day except sunday, yet at least 6 times we've gone to return bottles around 4-4:30pm and they have been closed. This happened 3 days in a row as well! Once they were still inside with the door locked while at least 3 people were outside looking to return bottles and we were told they closed early because they weren't busy enough! Well i think unlocking the door to service at least 3 customers would give them something to do.

OK, I realize it's a weekday but... no line up! Lots of staff to accomodate any backlog. I don't know who the lady was that helped us (I wished I asked), but she was fantastic. Great job!

The staff was outstanding, helpful,explained step by step what they were doing,cortious,friendly and most definitely good value for the number of bottles we brought in (certainly NOT a ripoff)! I would recommend this depot to everyone to fulfill their recycling needs! It was sincerely a pleasant experience considering the dirty job of taking back recycleables!
