I wanted to give a shout out to Rez Gar, the Cortina Kitchen Installer from the Service Department. Professionally installed, very pleased with the cabinetry. .
We had our kitchen cabinets installed recently and had a great experience with Aline and Cortina! Service was great and met our expectations.
The kitchen cupboards are beautiful and well done however 2.5 years after installation our garbage and recycling pull outs have broken (the slides and the wood). Service technician said this is typical due to the weight of garbage that piles up. We don't overload it and it's only been 2.5 years. We've been denied warranty on it which is disappointing.
We had Razgar assist with our PDI fixes and he was definitely a professional in what he does. He hummed music as he worked on the cabinets and fixes, a sign of taking pride and enjoyment of his craft. Honest and upfront of what he can and cannot solve, and overall a pleasure to have such skilled trade individual work his magic. Work was done and completed timely as per plan. Some follow-on items Razgar will help us communicate back to Cortina for next steps. Looks like Cortina has employed a gem of a tradesperson!
Our kitchen cabinets were completed by Cortina Kitchen through our builder about 18 years ago. Two drawers had problem and we called Cortina Kitchen. They were able to fix the drawers for us without charge. We are so happy with Cortina Kitchen because they are so responsible for their work, even after 18 years! Aline Toma was so friendly and helpful. She called us right the way when the drawers were fixed. 👍👏👍👏

Terrible. Our cabinets are 3 months old and we’ve already had to replace the handles. We had an installer come in to put on our new counter tops on and he couldn’t do it because of the shoddy conditions our cabinets were in. It looks like a patchwork job was done. Unfortunately all the other negative reviews are accurate and they do not return phone calls after the job is done.
My kitchen cabinet have just been installed by Cortina Kitchen. I'm very happy with Cortina customer services and product quality, design and value for money. Chi contacted me regularly to understand my demand, showed me the materials, and the job progress and etc. With her flexibility and active listening, she does her best to satisfy our demand, deliver the excellent product on time with a reasonable price. Sabrina came twice at my house to draw a design and check it again. Bohdan, installer, spent 2 days to install the kitchen. His professionalism and carefulness also make our kitchen look outstanding and high class. Thanks so much for Cortina team. I highly recommend Cortina and look forwards to using Cortina again in the near future.

I moved to a new home 5 months ago. . The product is well done with a beautiful color. But their customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever had.
Slow email response, Sometimes never responds to me back.
1st attempt: Product and installation failed due to the missing parts.
2nd attempt: Installation failed. Technicians just show up without confirmation of time and date with me.
3rd attempt failed again . The technician came in not at the appointed time without prior notice.
4th attempt: I hope it can be done by today. Cortina has to follow what they promised time otherwise ask for an excuse if they need to change the time.
So, much waste of my time I have to stay at home all day.

We have been waiting since March for 2 cupboard doors to be replaced. 1st they made them wrong size and colour . Now we are waiting again for proper ones and they will not respond to our calls. They have our original doors that we left to make sure of right size and color.just a phone call to give us status of order would be appreciated.

WARNING FOR ALL HOMEOWNERS: This is a warning for any homeowner whose builder uses Cortina Kitchens for cabinetry and for homeowners who are sourcing their own cabinetry. Save yourself the stress and heartache and RUN THE OTHER WAY.
Our story is long. We hired a builder to build us a custom home. He turned out to be deceitful, dishonest and we terminated him for many reasons. It has truly been a horror story.
This builder uses Cortina Kitchens as his cabinetry company. We met with one of the designers who he is also friends with, Sarah Molinaro, at Cortina in June 2021. Sarah helped us with colours and our designs and had good ideas. We eventually signed off on the drawings. We gave our builder money for the deposit and he told us this was paid in September.
In October, I was asked to bring in the hood fan so I did. It was also confirmed that our order was in production when I asked to make a change.
When we terminated our builder in January 2022, he was quick to contact Sarah and inform her that he would cancel the order unless I paid the deposit again so that they could refund his deposit, something I could not understand since deposits are non-refundable at Cortina for custom orders. Why was an exception being made for him? I explained that I would not be paying a deposit twice. Sarah indicated that I needed to resolve things with him and I told her we had litigation lawyers involved.
I explained the situation to both Sarah and Tony Mendolia in January and was informed that materials were ordered and the order was in production. I told them that I would pay the balance owing on the invoice when the time came and I would accept the cabinetry. I have numerous messages from Sarah between January and April asking me when we would be ready for delivery, asking me again to bring the hood fan in and then telling me that they would hold the cabinetry for me if we weren't ready. Again, all of this signals that the order was in production and all is well.
I called Sarah in April to let her know that we would be ready for delivery in May. She said she would look into it and get back to me. It took an entire week for her to call me back to tell me that she can't release the cabinetry as per the original builder's orders since the agreement is between them and him and that he will pay the balance and put it in storage. I was understandably upset. We've endured so much heartache with our new build, we sold our home because we were given an inaccurate date of completion, we are renting, our lives have been turned upside down, we have lost so much money. Our new contractor has done amazingly in getting us to almost completion and move in ready and now we are being told we can't get cabinetry? Why wasn't this communicated to me sooner?
I am of the firm belief that no deposit was paid. Our order never went into production. It is clear that Cortina's loyalty lies with builders, not the homeowner who is actually paying for the cabinetry.
What they did is absolutely disgusting and with so many other cabinetry companies to choose from, I don't know why anyone would choose a company like this. The construction industry is a shady one and with companies like Cortina who support and enable these dishonest builders, they are just simply feeding into the problem.
UPDATE: Tony reached out to me on Friday and indicated he's been discussing this matter with others internally and wanted to get more information from me. He wanted to see what he could do to help but couldn't make any promises. On Monday, they informed me there was nothing they could do. No solution. No offer to create a new order/agreement. These people are upholding an agreement for a builder who is literally ignoring a legal letter from our lawyer and who has no intention on paying for any cabinetry. Cortina, Sarah and the builder have blocked me from their Instagram pages - classy. The unprofessionalism and dishonesty that has been displayed is unreal. I hope that this review prevents another homeowner from the stress and heartache we've had to endure.

The product they produce is good. But their customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Email numerous times to follow up and never get a response. They have screwed up our kitchen cabinets 3 times, you’d think they would bump us to the front of the line when making the replacement parts. But no. It’s been 7 months since we’ve closed and we’re still waiting with no ETA. I’d avoid using cortina for any future projects.

We bought a new home and our builder chose Cortina Kitchens Inc for our cabinets. The cabinets are amazing and we loved it. We wanted to add 35x90 inches to the pantry in the kitchen but their project Add-ons are super expensive. The installation cost is $ 750+HST which is very expensive for small a pantry. The pantry and parts are an additional cost. We wanted to install it by ourselves as my brother works for a Kitchen cabinet company. The reason we reached out Cortina Kitchens Inc is because we want the same colour as our other cabinets. We sent them an e-mail and are still waiting for their reply. We've been following up with them since the past two months and they reply to e-mails extremely slow.

Worst experience ever, they put in a counter top and it was cracked. Told them about it to replace it, and they have replaced it and left the old one in my garage, sitting here for a month. When I called them, they told me to contact the dealer. Like what?!?!

I just wanted to send kudos to the Cortina finishing crew that did an excellent colour match of the pantry cabinet we ordered. When you stand back the cabinet colour virtually matches our existing 17 year old cabinets . I’m impressed!

Salesperson does not seem to care. Bad customer service. The salesperson returned me from the door without providing information. I wanted to purchase kitchen organization and was told that it will be expensive to buy from Cortina and should buy from outside. I think that is a decision for me and not for the salesperson. Did not know the sales person’s role has changed from promoting business to giving external market options. Cortina management, you might want to check if your employees are hurting your business.
