Lutheran Counseling Services (LCS) is an outreach of the Lutheran community called to provide quality professional care for persons/family/community through confidential pastoral counseling and consultation. We respect each person's dignity and worth as a child of God, and share God's abundant grace as manifested through the love of us by Jesus Christ.
Since 1987, LCS has provided a wide range of faith-based counseling and consultation services to the entire community, regardless of faith, culture, income, race, or national origin.
Individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents come to LCS to learn ways to deal with difficulties, including the following issues:
Anger management
Grief
Marital issues
Depression
Trauma recovery
Elderly concerns
Conflict
Loneliness
Anxiety
Our staff includes Florida-licensed marriage and family therapists, registered nurse practitioners (clinical studies) and licensed clinical social workers. We accept some insurance plans (Cigna Behavioral Health, United Behavioral Health, etc.) and we offer a sliding fee based on income for those who need financial assistance. The principle of confidentiality is steadfastly observed at LCS.
Besides our main office in Winter Park, we have satellite offices in Oviedo, East Orlando, Montverde (Clermont), and Maitland.
