It seems like the same problem with all the customers. My order is not complete yet from May, although initially they told me that it would take 2-3 weeks to complete my blinds.
But it took almost 2 month before they brought it, but it didn't fit properly, it took another few weeks to redo them (instead of couple days as i've been told), but just to find out that is was not what i ordered, besides they malfunctioning. They told me that someone contact me re this issue, but after few weeks waiting i decided to call them, and John told me that it would be fixed and it would be rush order, but again more than a month, i don't hear from them.
John is not easy to get hold on him all the time, when they say to me that he call back, it's not necessary the case.
Bottom line he is coming in on the Friday of the week after at 10:30am to do the install. Overall it will be 6 or 7 weeks (instead for the 2.5/3 weeks as promised). No calls from the sales staff still.
Finger crossed but if the installation is as bad as the after sales service then its going to be the small claims court route for me.
AND THERE IS MORE...
The installer showed up today on time and was a very nice guy. These guys "overlooked" the order for the living room window which is the biggest window in the house. First the installer said that sales has a signed copy of my invoice stating that I did not order that window which was quickly changed to "We overlooked the windows and you will get that in 2 weeks" which is 4 weeks in reality from this experience.
I was told by the installer that I will get a call from "Sales" which of course I have not. I have called and left a message but no response.
The installer also said that they want me to pay part of my balance owing and the remaining after installation which I have declined to do. I want everything completed before I pay the second half. I am also awaiting a "call" from them which I have been waiting for for 3 weeks now.
very very very disappointed.
Once these guys get their hands on your money, they don't care about their clients at all. I was told that the installation would take up to three weeks, but my blinds were not installed until 4 months after our order was taken. Lyle insisted that we pay him upfront which was a huge mistake. After he got my money I was ignored and lied to.
Do your research and avoid this slimy sales company!
At this point we are still awaiting a call from John and expect to continue to be ignored.
If you are thinking of ordering from them I would strongly caution you not to. The disgraceful customer service and total lack of communication we have experienced is sure to be repeated. It is no wonder that the Better Business Bureau rates this company as an F, the lowest on its scale.
John please find the integrity to give us a call. Our order was placed 24th February for Tobacco Brown sunscreens, just in case you have so many disgruntled customers that you don't recall this order.
