Dr. Dean Licopantis, D.P.M., graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1988 and completed a surgical residency at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. Board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, Dr. Licopantis has been practicing medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle in New Jersey since 1990 treating both children and adults. He utilizes the most advanced techniques for the treatment of ankle pain, tarsal tunnel syndrome, heel spurs, bunions, dropped metatarsal hammertoes, neuromas, ingrown nails, corns, calluses and warts. Dr. Licopantis recently perfected a new pinhole technique for a painful heel spurs syndrome, which he has successfully performed on more than 300 patients. His results were published in a well-known medical journal. He is able to perform many procedures in the office, but he also may elect to go to Morristown Memorial Hospital, St. Clare's Health Services or two affiliated surgical centers depending on the procedure and the patient.
