Alliance of Independent Movers (AIM)

The Alliance of Independent Movers (AIM) are a trade association for the removals industry in the UK. The Alliance of Independent Movers was created to assist removers of all Sizes, to grow and expand their businesses while offering their customers a high level of service. For the mover with limited resources, or even larger more established businesses, AIM can offer a wide range of benefits. AIM members are required to have all the materials and equipment to carry out a house move efficiently and professionally. Their vehicles must be fit for purpose and have appropriate materials to protect your furniture and belongings.

Working with their members and the consumer, AIM are dedicated to improving standards within the industry. Therefore, if an applicant does not meet the required standard to join AIM, they will offer help and support. It is their intention to provide assistance – not barriers.

Consumer protection is provided by a Code Of Practice and membership criteria that all members must adhere to.
