Golden Cue Billiards

It's right downtown. In fact, if you stroll too fast you'll miss it, because all that's located on the ground floor is the entrance and a set of stairs. The pool hall proper is located on the second floor above the stores, and spans several of them. The tables and equipment in this place is a little older. That doesn't mean its subpar. The nice old tables are kept in great shape, as are the sticks (though I bring my own).

Lots of nice bars close by. Hess Village is about 8 blocks away. Some nice smaller places with good food on the south side of King Street across from Gore Park. Chesters comes to mind.
