WOW! Stunned when i found MRXFRO's review of Softub... his same scenario was just the BEGINNING of our problems!! Yes, all the sales people, as well as the CEO's *brother* insisted, despite several communications and advance measurements that there would be "no problem" getting the cash pre-paid Softub into the location of our choice. After weeks of delivery delays after the *full cash purchase* the CEO's brother beat the crap out of it for quite some time, we had to pay for a *lift boom* to get it in through a large window. But that was just the start of their lies and corruption!! TWO MONTHS after delivery (and the hot tub has *always* been properly maintained in an INDOOR location), the MOTOR inexplicably DIED. Again, it was approx TWO MONTHS before they arrived to 'repair' the motor, which then required an outright full replacement **that we had to do ourselves** (they just mailed the new motor, rather than replacing it themselves). EIGHT MONTHS into having the Softub, THE LINER FRIED. Even though Softub acknowledge the liner was defective (or more likely, the damage began *beneath* the liner because the Softub CEO's brother bent and beat the hell out of the Softub during delivery), they still gave us a hard time. At that point we just asked for them to remove fully refund our money on this LEMON, and the CEO began his fully corrupt, lying, ever evolving lines of spin. First he demanded a $1000 fee for the cost of Softub to come out to get the tub. Then he spun the "fee" into a "restocking fee" which, when questioned about what that could possibly mean, the Softub CEO boldly stated that he was going to just turn around and "resell" this miserable LEMON of a hot tub. What a corrupt cheat he is -- trying to charge us to soak another innocent customer!!! BOTTOM LINE: Run, Run, Run far away from this corrupt company!! With "customer service" out of Sudbury, they are never going to respond in a timely fashion, and the CEO is just a cheating scammer. Not even a year into owning this USELESS LEMON OF A GIANT PAPERWEIGHT still sitting empty in our master bedroom suite, we only got less than FIVE MONTHS functional operation and use out of this piece of garbage. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS CORRUPT COMPANY.

BUYER BEWARE !!! If dealing with Soft Tub Canada ... one salesperson in particular will claim the Softtub is quite flexible as far as squeezing through doorways or similar tight places. Problem is, the delivery personnel will not test that flexibility through fear of damaging the unit, and then owning it. A classic case of a saleman saying whatever is necessary to make a sale. My money was returned minus an admin fee - which I expect the saleman pocketed. He also attempted to charge for delivery (which was supposed to be free). There is also a lack of communication between this company and the local stores, regarding Sales, and technical detail. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!! Go with the infatable AERO, or SPA-in-a-box ... it will last as long and for a LOT less money.
