Dr. El-Zind received her medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed her general residency at Jersey City Medical University in New Jersey. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and neurology fellowship at Duke University. Board-certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology, she is a member of the Child Neurology Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. El-Zind enjoys caring for children with neurological needs, including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, cerebral palsy and other neurologic concerns. She is an avid animal lover, especially cats and dogs.
