These people don't want to deal with you after they take your money. In my case, some of the tiles were discolored and very different from the rest of the batch and tried to blame me (Where did you store them? You waited too long to use them (3 months)!, Just how it is! and etc.) Grow up guys!!!
We bought tile for our backsplash and paid for it and waited for the tile to be picked up at the back of the warehouse. As we were waiting for the boxes of tile my husband reminded me that we might as well get the grout while we were there.
I went back inside and waited in line for service as there were 2 people ahead of me.
When I was next I told the man at the cash that I needed some grout.
He brushed me off and said I know you were already here but stand aside I'm going to wait on the next person.
Just like that. I was shocked but didn't want to make a scene. I had to wait again for another cashier. I told my daughter I don't understand what that was about.
It really meant because I already give them my money and can't return anything I didn't deserve their courtesy anymore.
My daughter said Mom when you come to these discount places you get people like this.rude and abnoxious .
I will never shop there again. What that man did to me means he doesn't know how to be a human being much less a salesperson.

I picked up this order on Nov 1 and the Sales Person Maritza stated that I could exchange if the colour was wrong so long as the item was not open and within reasonable amount of time. I came in today, Nov 4, and the staff on shift decided not to honour her statement.
Your female counter person on today was in on Friday when I was there and heard the conversation and did not correct Maritza on her statement. The head sales person just shouted from the office that she could not do that instead of a face to face.
As a person who has worked in sales and understand completely that I purchased it and the restrictions with it but I asked before I paid for it and was assured that an exchange could be done.
I am very disappointed with the employees of Dufferin Tile for their lack support to me the customer and their co-workers.
My contractor is a frequent customer of yours and recommended you to go to for our tiles. We like what we purchased and are very satisfied and I have recommended Dufferin Tile to a person already.
Going forward, we have several other jobs coming up, kitchen, dining and living rooms where tile was going to be put in.
I will ensure to relay my experiences with your company and staff to people who are looking for tiles in the future.
