On June 16  23 I purchased a stackable Blomberg stackable washer and dryer and installed it on June 16, 23 for my townhouse which is in a townhouse complex. The dryer never  fully heatedThe report from Distinctive stated it was caused by low voltage/ amps.Did not make sense since I was replacing the older stackable  washer and dryer Countless hours in reaching out and incurring additional costs of hiring a master electrician and having the property management electrician review the issue. The  results,it was contrary to the Distinctive  diagnoses of 200 amps too low  Erica Capodilupoi was the only one who took my concern seriously After 7 months of numerous calls and emails, I received a refund Although I was told the cheque was in the mail as of Feb 22, I had to go down and pick it up personally. on March 13, 2024 I am still waiting for the arrival cheque in the mail. I ended up going to your competitor and purchased a GE stackable washer and dryer. It was installed they changed the hoses ( which your service men did not) and they tested it that it was operating as advertised and with the guidelines of the manufacturer. Your service personnel did not From the moment it was hooked up it has been running with no issues. max 30 minutes of drying time vs 3 hours with the Blomberg dryer.For a family business, I am very disappointed with the length of time it took to resolve this matter. In my opinion, they are there for the sale but afterward, you are on your own

Hilary and Albert were our Caplans Appliance delivery guys. They were amazing. I was terrified to watch them take the deep freeze down to the basement but they were pros and accomplished it with no issues. Thanks guys, you were amazing.

We purchased all four appliances today. Not a millionaire but work hard for every dollar. So far the experience with Caplan's has been good even if it was all over phone and e-mail. After reading the reviews, I will follow up with confirmation of my rating as we just paid and looking to hear back for delivery confirmation and any instructions. Looking for a new and clean look to our kitchen with these brand new appliances!

Purchased a full home of appliances (sub zero fridge and freezer, wolf stove oven, microwave dishwasher bar fridge washer dryer) with the amazing customer service provided by Thomas F and backed by a committed and talented team (thanks for the meal and coffee-such a treat) and engaged ownership (thanks boss for closing the deal). We used a rigorous price and service comparison to finally make our decision and with some hesitation went out of town to make the buy. We were not disappointed. They bent over backwards to help and give us the best deal. The process is coming to an end after almost 2 years and Caplan's is still there long after the transaction to ensure they deliver what they promise and we are happy customers. Highly recommend.

Its only been a week since the aplliances were installed but we couldn't be happier with them. Our sales rep Peter Gress listened closely to our budget, our thoughts and renovation plans and then idetified the perfect compliment of appliances to meet the needs of our family of 5 in our newly renovated home. We looked and compared thoroughly and I am certain there is no way we could have found a better match or a better price. The Caplans team was extremely supportive and patient with the delivery and install as our readyness for recipt of our products was delayed a few times, Peter was exceptional in his follow-up and care to make sure we got everthing we needed when we needed it.

We recently had the great pleasure of working with Lise LaPierre during our kitchen renovation. Over the course of 4 months Lise became an integral part of our Dream Team! She listened to our needs and expertly guided us through the many Miele cooking appliances. Although "function" was always our top priority, Lise ultimately suggested - with all things being equal - picking one model of oven over another because she felt it would be more in keeping with the 'look' we were after (ContourLine vs PureLine.) And she was absolutely right! We now can't imagine having anything else! Lise was also willing to go outside of Miele when sourcing exhaust hoods for us and ultimately helped us settle on another brand. Finally, Lise acted as our Miele liaision throughout. She followed through on payments, arranged our delivery and installation dates, and was readily and cheerfully willing to alter these, as often happens with renovations. What really impressed us was that that Lise followed up each of the these with a phone call, 'just to make sure it all went smoothly.' And with Lise, it did! Lise is a true professional, albeit one with that extra human touch, and Caplan's is really fortunate to have her!

We just made our first purchase from Caplan's Appliances and we were very pleased with excellent service and competitive pricing.
Their consultant Matt Hebert was very professional in sending us prompt e-mail quote (on a Labour Day Monday), and next day we completed the purchase of Bosch washer/dryer combo in store with Matt.
As promised, the delivery took place following Saturday morning, and Cody and his team (Trevor & Paul I believe) did a great job removing our old appliances, setting up the new ones, as well as testing both washer and dryer.
We highly recommend the Caplan's Appliances family store over large chain stores. Excellent customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also, their showroom is impressive to visit as well.

We purchased all of our appliances for our new home from Caplans 5 years ago! The service was outstanding then but just this past week, I called customer service with an issue and Jennifer went absolutely above and beyond to help us!!
Our appliances are now out of warranty and we had a really negative experience going somewhere else for service. I didn't know where to turn and when I called Caplans's and spoke with Jennifer, she listened and immediately said she would do whatever she could to help.. and she did!!! She took care of everything and made arrangements to send out one of caplans reliable service companies to fix the problem. I was so upset and stressed from the negative experience we had somewhere else and Jennifer was amazing!!! She took care of everything! I am so grateful and appreciative!! I would only ever call Caplans again!
In fact, in all of the years I have been a homeowner (which is close to 20), I have never had better customer care and responsiveness than my experience with Caplans!

On the recommendation of a friend (now no more ) I drove all the way from Richmond Hill to the store. I entered around 3.15 pm yesterday. I was greeted by an Asian salesman. I told him that I was looking for 7 appliances and I've already done my research and was interested in checking out your prices. The moment I mentioned GE Profile , he goes off saying that 's not high end and they can give prices but he'd rather I look at GE Monogram. I reminded him that Monogram was for professionals and I wasn't interested in pro stuff. He then suggested Kitchen Aid and I asked for LG. That sent him into a tirade about cheap Korean products.I asked him about Miele. He actually said, " It is the best if you can afford it".I was in shock and felt sorry for this guy and his organisation. I then thought I'll open my mind and check out Kitchen Aid but only after he gave me the prices I was looking for. This took a few minutes and I concluded that they were competitive but reluctant . I then gave him the opportunity to convert me to Kitchen Aid. We started with a French door Fridge and he was hopeless in his sales pitch. As I was debating in my mind to continue or end this agony a Caucasian salesman comes up to him and without excusing himself whispers something in this guy's ears and the next thing you know the Asian salesman excuses himself saying that he had a previous appointment and the other guy would take over. They both walk away and I'm not sure what's going on.Do I have to brief the new guy all over again because I did not see the first guy briefing the second guy. I wait a few minutes and once I locate this second salesman I go up to him and tell him to his face that your service sucks and that you don't deserve my business. I will never ever have anything to do with Caplans and make sure none in my family or friendship circle ever does.The only reason I've given 5 stars is because they would not let a 1 star get through and they deserve half a star.

A friend referred us to Caplan's when we need a new stove.
We are blown away by the prompt, friendly and efficient service, including by the guys who delivered our appliance. Working with Peter, who helped us choose our Kitchen Aid at the store, was a relaxed, stress-free experience. He took the time to show us an array of ranges, and we never felt any pressure to move beyond our requirements or price range.
Prices are competitive, and with the sale price on the item we chose, we scored. We will definitely buy future appliances there. Interestingly, after our purchase, almost everyone we spoke to had "heard of Caplan's", or knew someone who had had the Caplan's experience.

It was just a perfect experience. The salesperson Sam followed up with our house final closing date and made sure the orders are delivery in time. The delivery guys were amazing. They took care of our appliances very well and made sure the dryer and washer to be installed properly. Very professional and excellent customer service. I was just regret that I totally forgot the gratuities because the other contractors were there talking to me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! This is Michael from Nobleton Tribute house.

We recently purchased all new appliances for our new home. I gave the list of make and model that we were looking for and spoke with Matt Hubert. (Miele Show Centre) He gave a bulk purchase price that exceeded all other retailers. In addition he had no issue in holding all of the appliance delivery until after we moved into our new home. Despite it being outside of the GTA Caplans still provided delivery, l would strongly recommend Matt and Caplans to anyone; hands down.

Caplan's have always provided our customers with the best customer service as well as ourselves. Our sales associate Andrei Zabeline has been providing us with the best knowledge, customer service and best products on the market for few years now. I just wanted to let you know that 4MD service installed a new convection fan in our Brigade induction range today. The fan now runs beautifully with no vibration noise.

If you had not called me to check on our appliance purchase and offer to put in a service call, I probably would have lived with a noisy oven for many years. It is my first time owning a convection oven and I really did not know that the fan noise should be minimal.

I have nothing but praise for the service from Caplans – from the moment I parked my car, to choosing my appliances, to delivery of the appliances, all the way to your after sales service, everyone has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and dependable.

Thank you so much for such outstanding service – it is a rare thing these days to have such a positive experience. Caplans is wonderful. I have recommended you to many friends. I myself would never shop anywhere else for appliances.

We bought a Bosch dual-fuel range from Caplan's clearance department. It was a discontinued model, but the price was fantastic, and who cares if it's a year old? It looked great, had every feature I cared about, and came with a full warranty ... that's all that matters, no?

When the range was about to be connected, the installer noted that a critical part related to the gas supply into the range (the gas pressure regulator) was not secured to the frame of the range ... which meant that in sliding the range into place, the tension on the gas connection might have caused serious (and dangerous) damage to the gas supply into the range. I tried calling the authorized service company for Bosch, who said, yes, the repair would be covered under the warranty, but that it would be a week before they could get someone out to look at it.

When I asked Caplan's for help, they worked with the service company to move us up to the top of the priority list for the repair; the technician came the next day, and with a very minor repair, fixed the problem.

Now the range is connected, and working beautifully.

We're thrilled with the deal we got on this product, and very appreciative of the efforts Caplan's went to to help us solve our problem.

I experienced exceptional customer service from the very first moment I contacted Caplan's Appliance. This started with the sales representative, Mario Mercone, and continued all the way through the shipping process with Robert Calandra.

Everyone involved was extremely knowledgeable about the products and always looked to help me have the best customer service experience I have ever received from any retailer or service provider.

I would recommend Caplan's Appliances 10/10 times to anyone.

The initial sales experience was very positive. Then came the problems:
1) We were not warned that we should check if the fridge that we ordered would fit the service elevator. It was very close and almost didn't make. The wheels were broken but it did make it.
2) We were not told that we needed to order handles for the fridge as it has a wood panel. When we did order the handles from Jenn Air via Caplans, it was a comedy of errors. We needed three handles and only one was ordered. Then the order seemed to be mis-placed. After weeks when we finally received the handles, one was scratched.

I bought a cooktop, range hood fan, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer...in my world, a lot of appliances at once. So far I've had 2 deliveries and 1 service call...and I have 1 more deliveries and 2 more services calls scheduled. So, if I'm lucky it will TAKE SIX (6!) calls to hopefully get functioning appliances, albeit with a fridge that's scratched and dented. And the customer service response to that - don't worry, it'll still work fine. Thanks. Far from exceptional customer service. And the customer service response to the SIX VISITS - we understand your frustration. Wow, thanks. Far from exceptional service.

We purchased a small item (a standalone wine cooler) from Caplans, but we were treated with the same level of service and courtesy as if we were outfitting an entire kitchen. The after-sales follow-up was very, very good ... our sales representative went out of his way to keep us apprised of the product stock situation and potential delivery date. And when the product was delivered, the delivery staff were extremely courteous, careful about bringing the product into our house and setting it up. This was our first experience with Caplan's but it definitely won't be our last. The Stewarts of Etobicoke.

Frank is very well versed in all of the products that Caplan's carries and was extremely helpful in guiding us through our decision process. Delivery and installation was executed without a hitch. The service we have received is far superior, in every respect, to that which we have received at the competiton. We will certainly be returning to Caplan's and will have no hesitation in recommending Frank and the entire Caplan's team.

We were greeted at the door and asked if we wanted to look around or if we needed a salesperson. The sales person, Nancy Bedard, was excellent. She was helpful, no pressure and answered our questions with good information so that soon we were on our way, having found the appliance that was just right. The young person who had greeted us offered us coffee and chocolate chip cookies. Delivery was professional and the guys had a pride in their work.
What a refreshingly different experience we had at Caplan's compared to other stores we'd been to that morning, where salespeople were either not available or too keen on making a sale.
