Don't even think about buying a Mirolin tub. We purchased the Bliss tub from them and now, 4 years later, there are fine hairline cracks on the bottom of the tub. Their inspector told me it was caused by "excessive hot water". I don't use "excessive" hot water, hot maybe, but it's a bathtub. It sounded like the inspector knew what to say before he even walked in the door? They tell me it's not a manufacturing defect. Really??????
I have had the just shower with the one corner seat in my shower for about 7 years, i have never had any problems with anything except the shower doors. The rest of the shower is amazing! The shower doors are poorly made and very low quality!!! They are the worse things to clean and it is so flimsy.. I have read other comments saying they have the same problems with cleaning these doors! A product with so many poor reviews you'd think they would change something!
I am a small business contractor.Up till now,I let the customer pick showers and tubs. From now on,if they pick Mirolin ,I will REFUSE.Trying to make JUNK look good is very hard(You can't make honey of Dog Shit). Before you purchase, call them and tell them you did and you are having a difficult time with their product. This alone will turn you right off. There is obviously NO Quality Control in this company as every Tub and Shower I have installed, have been defective, some far worse than others, but they are batting a thousand with me.There are other products out there I found much better.
Bought a 3 piece walk-in-shower (one corner seat) and the matching sliding doors.
Price was competitive with similar products from other manufacturers.
The assembly/install was done by professionals, however, during the installation, a manufacturing defect was identified and communicated to Mirolin (see photo). We had to cut open a side wall in the adjacent room to add support for the structure, setting us back a few hundred dollars in carpenter, dry waller and painter time (plus materials).
Mirolin did bring in a specialist to patch the cracked seat, which fixed the cosmetic problem very well.
The lack of interest by Mirolin in acknowledging the manufacturing problem (fiber fabric curled on itself) and assisting with the structural fix earns this company a FAILING grade.

So far not impressed at all.
Paid more for this than some of the better tubs and it just doesn't fit together.
There's a 1/2" gap all around the seams and the cornices at the joints are out by 3/4".
The feet are all different heights and required quite a bit of shinning, not easy when the tub is in place.
It's taken three days to partially install and we're not going any further until I find out if were ripping it out or not.
Too bad there isn't a rating less than one star.

Purchased a Mirolin bathtub, then everything went downhill from there.
A well prepared and planned four day bathtub & tile reno ended up taking 3 weeks. The bottom line was the tub was defective and Mirolin wasn't willing to do anything about it, because the defects were 'within tolerance'. Glad they don't do that with cars...sorry, your car may sit on an angle, but it's within our tolerances. A $5,000 reno compromised by a $350 tub. Please warn anyone that's considering purchasing one of these lemons.

Every time I have used a Mirolin product I have had issues with it. Panels don't fit. Flimsy. Damaged. And the service is absolutely pathetic. I've lost hundreds on each install and Mirolin won't cover any lost wages. I will NEVER purchase or promote your product in any way going forward. I will be educating my customers on choosing a proper brand such as maax. Thanks for nothing mirolin
Very flimsy unit very porous and water stains on this unit verge easy znx now it us impossible to clean it not happy with this at xll
I guess I am stupid. I just finished trying to clean my three piece tub unit and almost cried. I have had the unit for about 8 years and did what most consumers do....not complain. The upper wall pieces are beautiful. The tub unit is all stained. This started about 9 months after owning it. I have not used abrasive cleaners and have thoroughly rinsed after each cleaning. The finish is off the tub unit on the side that the shower curtain is not. I use a Municipal water supply, so there is no excuse for this. I also had two cracks show up in the tub and had to purchase Mirolin's tub repair. All it is, is kitchen caulking. I now have two rubber patches staring at me every time I get into this tub. I paid over $1200 for this piece of crap. My brother does home renovations and he told me that if he knew that I was going to buy this tub he would have told me not to. He uses a much cheaper unit that holds up very well over time. Please complain, don't be like me and wait too long. Don't purchase their products....please....save yourself the headache.
BD56 shower door jambs are designed to fit a right angle between the sides and sill of their Mirolin Melrose shower but it has a curve there: I will need to very carefully modify the jambs to fit that curve. The jamb adapters will also need to be modified due to this issue. There is a ridge on the sides of the shower that will cause the jambs to tilt inwards meaning the header won't fit unless I leave the jambs loose. The instructions call for the wrong size drill bit (3/8 inch instead of 1/8th!) for the door guides in both the English and French versions. The number of door stops does not match the instructions, although it does match the pre-drilled holes in the jambs. The sill plate door guides require more screws than are supplied and the instructions do not make clear how they are to be installed. Overall: looks nice at first glance but it will be a difficult multi-day job instead of a 2 hour job due to the customization required to make everything fit. Called tech support but only got a marketing guy. Doubt I will get any further with the voice message left for their lone support guy. Recommend avoid this manufacturer due to issues like this: you don't need to lose the time or go through the hassle of modifying their stuff to make it fit their own products.
Can't give this thing less than 1/2 a star. We've spent two days trying to install a Ellis Series 48" shower. NOTHING fits together. We are not new at this but never have we been more frustrated and disappointed with a product. What a piece of sh*t. The "tech support" is a joke. No one will call you back to help make sense of their instructions which are also a joke. Even talked to the VP of something and although he seemed interested in helping (tech support) we were way past that. Bottom line....don't waste your money on this product. You will go broke buying baling twine and silicone to keep it together.
It all started when the plumbing had to be redone the drain and the overflow were half an inch out of line. After the project was complete, tub and wall surround. Now the water gets past the silicone then leaks out onto the floor.I have re caulked 4 times to no avail. problem was discussed with mirolin, and no satisfactory conclusion. They have not replied to my last email. The bottom line is don't buy mirolin crap.
Installation support is non existent. They would not even return my calls. One girl tried to help but did not have any experience with the problem. The 3 piece tub and shower fit together very poorly and the doors for this tub shower combo did not fit well either.
I have a 3 piece door system that have lower channels that need to screw into the bottom of each door panel, but the screws supplies are self tapping, and the lower portion of the door has a half circle to screw into rather then a proper threaded circle with proper screw. See image to better understand. The hole is right against the hollow edge of the door - should have been drilled just a few mm higher. I cannot secure the channels at the bottom, the doors sway and are not secure in a track. David wants me to silicone them together (basically glue them on) but that is not the right fix, as the doors and fixture system were poorly designed.
Mirolin tubs are just poor quality- so poorly finished that it took my plumbers an additional 6 hours to put it in because the drain down pipe was not well finished - in fact we had to return the tub and get a new one.. disgraceful quality - do not buy these tubs!
Never in my life have i seen such crap. there are large gaps in the pieces around the ledges. looks absolutely poor quality.also the drain is so uneven when its tightened it sticks up on one side. this product is a total disaster. the store i purchased it from is trying to deal with Mirolin but i an so disillusioned with this product/ company. they have no quality control and its nothing more then a piece of junk.
I have spent a lot of money in buying various
cleaners to clean the ring around my tub. It will
just not come out. This can be very embarassing as well as annoying. Is there anyone out there who can help me with this problem. Cream cleansers do not work. Thanks

I have been scrubbing this tub with cream cleansers as recommended by Mirolin but as time goes on it seems to get dirtier. I left dish detergent to soak on it for 20 minutes and then tried cleaning it sit a little success. Mirolin recommended CLR. 3 times the price of a regular cleanser but I tried it.
With a little soft scrub brush I have managed to clean most of the dirt with CLR but there remains a ring of dirt in the tub. This is most frustrating. It's as if the finish just soaks in the dirt but cannot be cleaned.
I would not recommend this tub.
