Agree with others on here…”0 Stars” should be an option because that’s what this group deserves. Bought a brand new top of the line model with all of the options. Oxygen generator didn’t function upon delivery but they replaced that after a few months. Cabinet panel cracked and they also replaced that after a few months. Then, at the ripe old age of one year, one of the pump circuits stopped functioning. First I was told it was a pump issue but the pumps were back ordered due to COVID. 9 months later still no pump and they then tell me it’s not the pump but a piece broken off inside the plumbing…AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. Coast kept saying the local dealer should take care of it and the dealer said Coast refused to reimburse them for it. Spoke with Coast directly and they said I had to work through local dealer to make an “arrangement”. These are scam artists…stay away!
This review is a "1" because "0" is not an option. I have had many tubs over the years. I have a Jacuzzi at my home and love it. We bought a Coast spa for our ski hill condo a couple of years ago and have had nothing but problems since day1. Our dealer, Marysville Hot Tubs, has been very responsive and excellent to deal with but they are also very clearly frustrated with the lack of support from Coast. Our most recent issue is a seized pump. It is supposedly covered under a 3 year warranty. Our dealer says he has seen many of the pumps fail and assures us that Coast will not stand behind the warranty but will blame a seal or something not covered for the problem. He is "adding us to the list" of many Coast Spa owners who have problems with their tubs that the company will not stand behind.
I've owned your Infinity Edge spa going on three years. I've not had any mechanical/electrical issues and the dealer, Rich's, have responsive to questions. I could not recommend the purchase of this spa because of the ongoing issues with the factory supplied cover absorbing water and becoming extremely heavy. The weight of the cover actually bent the steel lifting devices. I'm presently working on a third cover in three years because of excessive weight. It was suggested I put a solar cover on the water to limit the cover water absorption - That did nothing to keep the cover from collecting water. This is a great spa that costs a lot of money - It's ashamed the experience is ruined by these ongoing cover issues. I'm not alone in having these issues. If you want to get top ratings, you need to work with your cover supplier and figure out a way to seal the unit so it lasts for years.
I'm going with 1 star because I can't choose 0. Spa failed in 30 min. 6 wks later it's still broken. They actually tried to charge me for repairs on a brand new Spa. They won't email or call back. Refused my request for a refund. I have never gotten in my spa. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and the Federal Trade Commission. Go elsewhere. I've never seen such awful service.
BUYER BEWARE COAST SPAS ARE JUNK . I balance my water every few days and still had my pillows fail after 6 months. They had to replace the motor after 1 year I asked the repair tech why and he said that they were having problems with the model of motor( I guess that's my fault). The remote from the radio never worked and I was charge $80 for a replacement. The dials to adjust the jets are extremely difficult to turn. The water fall start leaking since day one and had to get replaced recently at my cost which was $500 total and let me tell a good portion of the insulation had to be removed to access the water fall. (I guess my fault) When I purchased the spa the person came out to show me how to use it he didn't take the plastic off of the filter (I guess that's my fault too). I had to order a replacement part to the cabinet as it was damaged when it was delivered, I took them the original piece to get them to match it up and it took them 4 tries to get it right (I guess my fault again). The service and parts department is terrible the guy behind the counter(scott) is rude and unhelpful I guess when they sell you the product it stops there. Bottom line COAST SPAS MAKE ABSOLUTE JUNK SO BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY A COAST SPA
Our Tub came with one jet not working from factory as it was kinked, all the lights cracked after 3 years and it started leaking from 4 different areas. The service guy came and found all the hose connections were glued and placed in very questionable ways. Called the company and they dismissed me and said sorry can't do anything, out of warranty.
Stay away from these hot tubs. You will be sorry a few years down the road when everything falls apart and the company washes their hands of any responsibility.

Coast Phantom - 3 years now and thing still not working. No heat. Electronics bad. Lights bad. Pump leaking. Drains leaking since day one and unfixable. And to top it off, replacement cover from factory only ... $1300!. Stay away from Coast as a brand!
I bought a 2013 Cascading Spa and I love it. I shopped for months before finding the right Spa. All other brands were cheaply made compared to Coast.
I called this co. looking for a replacement pump.I asked for the pump to be the same as the original. He recommended me one and added it would fit.Because the fit wasn't precise,a leak was detected at an elbow.I put the old pump back in.NO LEAK!Warranty details that once installed by me the pump is mine.To properly install this pump requires a new base to match AND a new elbow which is upping the cost of this replacement.I have contacted the BBB and their hands are tied due to the warranty. To sum it up,I bought the pump on their advice, and they go running the minute the I complained.I am calling this what it is...an irresponsible and careless sale ill advised by a self proclaimed techcian/salesman.
We love our Coast Spa! We go in it every day. This was the best investment we ever made. I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks for all your help.

Our tub is almost 6 years old and now need to replace pump #2. Pump #1 was replaced due to a recall and it took 4 months and several phone calls until it finally was replaced. The jets that come with the tub were all replaced within 2 years. The replacement jets, (paid for of course) have lasted longer. There have also been issues with the seals leaking.
Overall, for a hot tub that costs in the $10,000+ range--hightly over rated. Do not be fooled by their great marketing and warranties. (that they do not honor or if they do honor it is not without a fight and several phone calls to the local dealer) Having said all this, when the tub does work it is a great tub. Do your homework before purchasing a Coast Spa.

We purchased our Coast Spas Helios tub 2 years ago and has been enjoying it ever since. There is not a single day that goes by when we are not using our tub.
Our close friends who live on the same street has gone to purchased their own Coast tub.
We also recommended Coast Spas brand to our daughter and son in'law and they are looking to purchase their own Coast tub as well!!!

I purchased a Paradise Spa cost close to 12K. Got the platinum package which was supposedly good for 3 years of service. Pump 1 went after 6 months, replacement pump worked for about a year, 2nd replacement pump is still sort of working at 1/2 the power. Needless to say, tub now off warranty. Did I mention that the vendor charged for the service calls? (just not the parts)
Let's talk about the jets.....they don't last either. Within the 1st year we had to replace 6 of them....Back to the dealer (Internaitonal Pool and Spa - a 45 minute drive away) they didn't have replacements so gave us ones for a different tub. These are not adjustable. A number of subsequent visits, still no jets, and now struggling with "off warranty issues". Now 10 small, 5 medium and 4 large need replacing. The junky plastic just fractures in the hot water over time
Very irritated that a product that cost so much, would be so darn unreliable.
Not impressed at all

I was in the market for a hot tub this year and have been spending quite a bit of time researching sites like this to try and help narrow down my search. After hours of review and visiting all of the different showrooms I selected a Coast Spas. I was very satisfied with the spa when I chose it as well as the price that I had to pay however the best thing that happened was due to the dealer I purchased it from. They were very knowledgable during the sales presentation but once the spa was delivered they came out a week later and gave me an orientation as well as provided me with start-up chemicals and a couple of robes for me and my wife.
i do not know how the other companies would have performed but just from this I do beleive that you have to make the correct selection in your dealer to ensure tyhat you get the appropriate service.

I am on my 3rd Spa since 1989 and the last 2 have been Coast Spas. I just want everyone to know that it has been THE BEST experience and I would recommend this brand of Hot Tubs to anyone.
I have had 2 spas in my lifetime. A Cal Spa and a Coast Spa. Here is what I have learned from being a spa owner for the last 14 years....The spa is ONLY as good as your "dealer" is. I don't care what name brand you decide to purchase, if you buy from a company that hasn't been in business for too long, or who has negative camplaints on the BBB and other sites, or you just don't feel 100% warm and cozy with then trust your gut and DON'T BUY THERE!! My last spa experience with a Coast dealer has been exceptional. I bought from a family business in NY. I felt comfortable while they were trying to sell it to me, and ever since they've kept my trust. Here is the thing....The DEALER makes more of the decisions regarding warranty than you may think. Since purchasing in 2006, I have only had one issue. I was not charged a "travel/trip" charge because my dealer chooses NOT to charge me! They probably could get away with it too! They came to my home (didn't even require me to be there), fixed my issue and went on their way. If you have a service man waiting to get paid to perform work, forget about it...You need a large company that is reputible!! Then you ALL WIN!!! I like Coast, but I think I like my dealer better...
