eware. We have had a very sad experience. Koepp Construction has not completed a job they contracted for an outdoor kitchen and patio. They were to have been done by July 4th. It is now July 20th and it is still not finished. They have been paid just over 70% of the total contract and they have refused to come finish the work and to fix the items damaged by them and their sub-contractors. A BBB complaint has been made. We have sent emails, called numerous times and sent a letter asking them to contact to discuss a plan to finish and resolve the damage etc. Johnny Koepp even threatened saying he had a "very powerful family". We have told him once the job is complete we will pay the balance but he refuses to complete the work. It has been very frustrating dealing with this company. Anytime an issue is pointed out regarding items needing to be fixed or finished the owner becomes defensive and threatening. We now have a an outdoor area that remains unfinshed. The patio pavers they installed were done incorrectly causing drainage issues. This leaves standing water for over 18 hours from only minimal rain. An engineers drainage plan was provided to Johnny Koepp prior to the work beginning. Water that sits for this period of time will eventually cause mold. It also makes the patio dangerous and unusable after any rain while we wait a large amount of time for the patio to drain. I am worried the water could eventually enter the home if it rains for a period of time longer than the 1 hour it rained that took 18 hours to drain. Johhny Koepp has also been provided numerous photos showing the drainage issues over the period of time above. We continue to have problems and are likely going to have to hire someone to come in and fix the mess he left us with.
