Visited this place for the first time. The lady at the reception named Liza was least interested in what I asked her. She then directed me to a Master stylist Sindy who didn't seem interested. I requested for a haircut in layers and what i received was nothing close to layers. Such a rip off. Expensive and crappy. Please do not bother going here. There are better places. I was pressed for time and decided to go to this salon. The worst decision ever.

they are the worst. they dont care about the clients at all, all they want is their money.
the environment is unfriendly and the owners are rude.
they are ridiculously expensive, and they wont quote a price because they change it depending on whether they like you or not.
the head receptionist is a piece of work.
there are better places in square one to have your hair done. RUN.

Worst Service ever, wish we would have gone to walmart instead!

My husband made a walk in appointment for a haircut yesterday since we wanted to try to place out. The woman who was doing my husband's haircut didn't even put toilet paper around his neck so he had hair all over the place. We had to ask her to keep fixing his hair and in the end the back of his head looked like a giant "U", his hairline was uneven and there were patches of hair everywhere.

We even had to come back and ask someone else to fix his hair because it was so unaaceptable. I spoke with the Manager while my husband was getting his hair fixed and all what he had to say was "maybe he asked for a particular kind of cut?". After telling him that I was very doubtful my husband asked for patches of hair all over his head I had also told him that I had to cancel my appointment because we had to go back to which he responded "I don't know what you want me to do, its gonna get fixed anyway so?"

Worst customer service ever. Never going back again. BEWARE!

I was walking through the mall one day and saw a stylist with amazing hair. I asked the receptionist if it was possible to have my hair done by that particular hair stylist. They booked me in right away and I have been coming here ever since. My stylist is always professional, friendly, and whatever colour they use on my hair doesn't seem to ever fade. I book myself in once every 4-6 months or so mainly for my roots. If you're interested in coming here, I cant speak for the other stylists, but ARDA is definitely someone you will want to do your hair.

I am ecstatic to say that I have found a salon that knows exactly what I want and for a price that is extremely affordable. Definitely going back

If I could give it less than one star, I would. This salon is absolutely terrible; I wish I'd bothered to look up the reviews before I went. The stylists here have no talent to back up those sky-high prices, and their rude attitude completely ruins the whole experience on top of that.
After my sister paid $150 for colouring her hair, there was absolutely no difference in the colour; the dye wasn't noticeable at all. When we came back to ask if they could fix her hair to at least make the colour more noticeable, I was met with rude attitudes from the staff members from the start. I walked up to the receptionist and asked if I could speak to a manager, and she brought some random man from the back and whispered "brace yourself" into his ear (let it be known that the whisper could be audibly heard throughout the salon; this woman was about as subtle as a gun.)
The rest of the stylists heard this and actually LEFT THE CLIENTS THEY WERE WORKING ON to come to the front and stand around and watch us while we talked to the man that the receptionist brought to us. Just to confirm, I asked the man that came to the front if he was the manager and he responded "just tell me what the problem is." Excuse me? I asked him at least a dozen more times if he was the manager and he just kept skirting the issue. We finally gave in and told him the problem, and before we could even ask him if it was possible for them to fix her hair, he immediately went on the defensive, insisting that there was nothing wrong with the price as my sister had "long hair" (apparently above-shoulder length hair is considered "long" at this salon) and refusing to help us (all the while, the hairstylists were still steadily ignoring the clients they were supposed to be attending to and instead were standing two feet away from us egging him on).
After the man (very rudely) brushed us off and left the salon, we asked the receptionist if she could tell us the name of the manager or the owner of the salon and she said she didn't know. Let me repeat that: the receptionist at the salon claimed she did not know the name of the person she worked for. She very patronizingly told us over and over again that she was "just a receptionist" and of course she had no idea what the names of the managers were. We asked her if she had the manager's name or number on file in the back, but she refused to look and insisted there was no way she could find out the manager's name for us. How did she get hired at this place without ever having to meet a manager or at the very least know their name?
I have no idea what kind of establishment this is supposed to be; the staff is untalented, the prices are ridiculously high (way higher than what they're advertised as on the board; these people make up random prices to charge you on a whim), and the service is horrible. They'll try to instigate you the moment you walk in and then try to make you seem like the bad guy. Don't trust this place with your hair or money. Avoid at all costs.

This is the WORST salon I have ever been to. Expect to be overcharged and expect an environment full of negative energy, from the owners down to the hair stylists and receptionist. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat their customers. They refuse to quote the cost for anything, they substitute stylists at the last minute and you are expected to pay whatever price that stylist dreams up when they're finished. DISGUSTED.

I made an appointment with Master stylist and they switched me to Medium level without asking me.Very unprofessional.I refused that app. because I requested Master stylist.I believe these people who complain about service. I will never go back.
By Lu on Apr 17, 2014
Dont ever go here these people are stupid I don't know who hired them. They give you one price at the beginning and charge you more than $40 extra when you're paying. What is that? Are you not entitled to tell someone how much they have to pay before hand? And the service is terrible! I'm so disguisted by the way they talk to people. They threatned to call security just because I told them that they had over an hour while doing my hair to tell me how much I needed to pay. JESSICA COSTA is the stylist and I don't know who hired her but she is beyond rude and so unprofessional! Trust me don't go there they will leave you feeling very pissed off and you can't even enjoy what you just payed for. HORRIBLE!

When I finally got so frustrated with my frizzy, rough, curly, thick yuck strawberry blond hair on a wim, I went to Joseppi's at Square One Mall. Michele just arrived to work so she went right to work with me. She asked me what I wanted, I kinda just told her I hated my hair, that I takes almost 2hrs to straighten it. I told her to do 'whatever' her professional mind/hands could do. She gave me an amazing hair wash & she went to work. She put a little more blond in my hair, and cut some lengeth of to make it less heavy and I dont know what she did, but she managed to make my hair less bulky. While she was doing my hair she was making me laugh so hard, she was so funny also she gave me small tips to help me with my hair.
When I was leaving, I felt so sexy, self confidant, I just wanted to keep touching my hair. My hair was soft, not frizzy, it felt so light compared to before. I loved the extra blond, it make me look younger. I felt as though I should have done twrils in a meadow for a photo shoot for hair!! Im not lying. Michele really knows what she is doing, she is professional, listens to her clients and let me know what she was doing as she was doing it. She was easy to talk to and answered my hair questions easily.
Move over 'Magic Mike' its 'Magic Michele'

I recommend Michele if you couldve seen my hair before, you'd agree she works magic!

Before I had my hair done, I asked first for the price how much will it cost me to do the hi-lites. They gave $80 for a partial hi-lites. I agreed and have it done. The hi-lite went good. But when I asked for my bill, the total came to almost $120.00. I asked why and they said because of the hair wash and blow dry. Isn't it stupid to charge a hairwash for a treatment? How do you expect your customer to step out of your salon? With their hair unwashed? In the first place, they have a big promo in fornt of their salon which says, Wash, Cut & Style with hi-lites $ 85 or $80.00 This is really nonsense. I am not going back to that salon again. And if anybody wanna try their service, make sure that the charges will be the same as what they told you before you agree to have it done.

I used to have a master cutting my hair here. She quit and told me how badly the employees are treated there. And it shows. They all are very unhappy and very unfriendly.
Diana whila a good stylist is very unfriendly, being with her I feel like I'm in the arny getting orders.
I went there for a cut and highlightes. They had an offer, I took it. At the end Diana told me that she is too good for "special" offer and it is usually done by some beginner stylist. I truly didnt care. She did her job, then they charged me extra for my hair lenghts, even though the offer didnt say anything about that. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

I live in the Mississauga area and wanted to try out a hair salon in Square One. I wanted to give Joseppi and Mimmos a try since it looks decent from the outside so I made an appointment.

They booked me with a bald guy named Joe that was quite old. Already I had an iffy feeling since this guy didn't seem like he knows a lick about men's hairstyles. So while he was cutting I told him not to cut certain parts and he did it anyways. He cut all my sideburns off which made my head look like a bowl afterwards and whenever I tried asking him anything he cut me off telling me to let him do his job. I also told him not to cut too much and he cut my hair length way too short.

I have asian hair so it is really hard to style when it is short becauase of the straightness of my hair and his only comment was "Too bad.. thats just how your hair is. There's nothing you can do"

I waited a month and a half to grow my hair back and went to cut somewhere else and it looks much better now.

I'm never going back and neither should you.
