Rinaldo Spa

Had a massage and would state this is the worst massage I have ever had. If they want to charge these rates they need to employ a trained massage therapist! The room is not conducive to a massage and the overall experience was poor as if the esthetician was afraid to touch me and just mailing it in. Very disappointing experience and definitely not relaxing. Was glad I had a gift certificate and did not have to pay for this service.

I have curly hair and have NEVER been able to get a cut without wishing I hadn't until I went to Rinaldo's. I love that they did exactly what I asked and especially didn't cut my bangs too short. I don't have to do anything to it now except put in some product and it has soft but not flat curls. Also had highlights which are the perfect colour and placement. I would definitely recommend them (Alam for cut, Suleqa for colour)for anyone who has been looking for someone to listen to what they want.

After walking in and being given the head to toe judgemental look by the receptionist, she offered me tea, which I gladly accepted as it was a cold day outside. I give Rinaldo's 1 star for the wash and head massage by Elias at the Ottawa Center salon. First time at Rinaldo's as I am new to Ottawa and looking for a stylist I like. I was told not to worry, I was getting a senior stylist who was really good with short, curly cuts. I have had short hair for years now, and never had such a bad cut. I didn't mind the asymetrical front, but the neck was completely crooked and left messy, and not in an intentional kind of way. The whole thing lasted 15 minutes, and I felt the stylist was rushing and couldn't wait for me to leave. Overall, it was a very expensive hair wash. I will never come back here, and will keep looking for a good stylist who cares.

Won't ever go back--after explaining that the Classic Bob I had was a little flat, the hairstylist--Jessica--proceeded to explain how she would lighten the top by adding in some layers. First mistake! She proceeded to gab on about her life and upcoming holiday plans, all the while sheering off my full head of hair. I was shocked that I had feathered hair. Unapologetically she then tried to convince me this layered mess was still a Classic Bob by pulling out a straightening iron and flattening my hair! No apology, just the full, pricy bill.

Waited a long time to get my hair cut. The style they gave me was boring and unattractive. Thought my last cut was much better and I had it done at First Choice. Told the girl exactly what I wanted for hair color and what I hated. She went and did exactly what I requested not to have. Quite pissed off and disappointed.

Carlingwood location-overpriced may have bought the name Rinaldo but that is all.

They charge top $$$$ and I will gladly pay it if the quality backs it up

I have been going to Rinaldo's for over ten years, and I will not go anywhere else. I've always had an amazing hair cut and dye, they've always done what I asked for, and as well the shampoo experience was very relaxing and soothing. I love the products they use, and they always made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Brutal haircut. Stylist overused thinning shears and destroyed what could have been a good cut.

In has been a year for me in Ottawa and i had some hard time looking for some good salon and spa. It was last month when Rinaldo's moved to Rideau Street i went and gave it a try and after a long time i came out with satisfaction from a hair designer. The customer service is wonderful. You will feel welcomed. All the hair stylist are one of the best in Ottawa so less chance of messing up. Now I go there for everything from hair-cut to waxing, facials and all.
