We rented chairs for our small backyard wedding ceremony. The whole process was so easy and seamless. The chairs we got were exactly what we were looking for, simple wooden folding chairs that really enhanced the rustic feel of our wedding. The pick up and drop off process was smooth and flexible!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Darek and the incredible team at Gervais Rentals for our wedding, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the very first conversation, Darek was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us create the perfect setting for our big day.

We rented a full tent package, and everything, from the tent itself to the flooring, lighting, tables, and chairs, was top-quality and beautifully maintained. The setup looked amazing and completely transformed our outdoor venue into an elegant, comfortable, and functional space for both the ceremony and reception.

The team was punctual, efficient, and so easy to work with. They handled the setup and teardown with zero stress on our end, which was such a gift in the busy days leading up to and after the wedding.

Amazing experience with Gervais! We rented our furniture, linens and dinnerware from them for our wedding and could not have been happier with the experience. Our venue came out beautiful, and set up was very easy. The delivery people and tent manager Chris were fantastic.

The process was seamless. The rental equipment was well kept and worth every penny. I've had some bad experience with several other companies, but Gervais was amazing. I would recommend them and likely will use them again for other events

I just used Gervais for a corporate party i hosted in Downtown Toronto. I was a bit nervous that maybe since they were an East End company they wouldn't know their way around in the downtown core, but boy was I wrong. They dropped off and set up the stuff right on time, and same for the pickup. Being on time in Downtown Toronto is almost miraculous with all the construction and lane closures, but they did it! Charming as well. You call them and a human actually answers the phone. Pretty great.

We currently use Gervais as our Party Rental Supplier and have been for a few years. They are hands down the best group of people to deal with, from Main Office to Dispatch to the people working in the warehouse - everyone is a delight to deal with!!!
Any issues that have come up - and there have been only a few and just part of life, they have bend over backwards to fix the issue or accommodate my issue. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else!!

John Waite was an absolute wonder to work with!
He was so incredibly helpful with our order and sat down with my husband and I on several occasions to discuss what was needed for our big day. We had quotes come from other locations and they didn’t even compare.
We never felt like John was trying to upsell or guide us into getting anything unnecessary. Most of the time he advised us as to what we didn’t need and even to the point where he told us to drop a tent size as we didn’t need the larger one. It was refreshing.
He was kind, thorough and so laid back. John kept our stress at bay and made one of the hardest things about our wedding so very easy.
The set up crew was outstanding and so fast to get everything situated for us. We had the set up location in Brockville which is nearly a 3 hour drive from their warehouse. Not only did they leave incredibly early in the morning to arrive for set up, they also worked so fast and efficiently they were there and gone in a matter of hours!
We only had two minor hiccups which were alleviated immediately and without any stress.
So thank you Gervais for making the biggest part of our wedding so stress free!

Last weekend my husband and I got married at the farm we live at and got the wedding package from Gervais. Our representative was George the owner. I have to say I have never experienced such great customer service. Through dozens of emails George set up an absolutely perfect package for us. Even when I messaged him late into the night or on a weekend he responded immediately, and was extraordinarily accommodating kind and helpful. The tent was absolutely gorgeous, the setup and take down crew were some of the nicest people I've ever met. We had one hiccup because at the last minute we decided to lay wood chips down where the tent was supposed to go to avoid mud. The dance floor they sent us did not have the bottom layer for such Terrain. This was 100% my fault because I did not let George know beforehand that that's what we were doing. Within an hour a crew member arrived with the Dance Floor bottom and everything went smoothly. The whole thing went off without a hitch and I can't think Gervais and George enough for helping us pull off an absolutely perfect day. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I would 1,000% recommend this company to anyone planning a wedding or party or event. They have every single thing you need from a tent all the way down two tiny little things that you don't even know you need. Every single person we dealt with was wonderful.

We used Gervais for our wedding rentals, and we were very happy with everything we received. Everything arrived as specified, in good condition, and the person I worked with (Sonia) was very accommodating and knowledgeable regarding our last-minute requests. We used Gervais for all our wedding rentals and couldn’t have had a better experience. We had to change our date a few months before and the team had no issues making sure we had all the items we requested. The set up/clean up team who arrived were quick and efficient! I am a wedding planner, so my job is to find the best vendors for my couples. Gervais is my go-to for event rentals! They have everything you need for a large or small-scale wedding, and they’re so fantastic to work with! Their communication is so timely, they’re so flexible with ever-changing orders, and their team is always looking to help. We love working with you!

We hosted a wedding at our property on June 22nd, 2024.
Gervais arrived 24 hours before the agreed upon date and were unconcerned about what needed to be done to the site prior to setting up tent.

As the tent/flooring was being assembled, I had concerns about the leveling of the ground. The installers couldn't have cared less. They wanted to get their job done and get out.
When they left, they left all kinds of garbage laying around, specifically the ends of zip ties that they used in assembly.
Draping was supposed to have been done and it wasn't. They came back and partially draped the tent, but didn't fully do the job. Again, they left more zip tie ends on the ground.
The coolers provided were barely functional. Broken handles and tops.

When they returned to disassemble, I asked them to be more conscientious of picking up after themselves. It's a working farm and these plastic pieces are bad for machinery and animals when rolled into the hay bales.
Unsurprisingly they were even worse. I had to pick up handfuls of zip tie pieces and tin foil left over from their lunch.
I would definitely NOT recommend this company for your function.

Our company hosted a family 'Carnival Day' for our staff and their family and friends. Gervais was there in plenty of time to set up the massive tent, and tables. We appreciated their efficiency from the time we contacted them for our needs, until the completion of the event. Would highly recommend Gervais for your function, and will definitely use them again! Thanks to their set up crew who were working on a super hot day!!

Gervais Party and Tent Rental was an amazing support and sponsor for our community celebration of life August 2023. As busy as they were, Harrison ensured that we got the tables, chairs and tent that we needed. The forecast called for rain all day, but after the showers in the morning a strong wind dried everything up. Though the wind tried to take our setup, it was a time of laughter and comfort for many who had recently experienced loss. With Gervais' help, joy was shared in Malvern!

Our wedding event could not have been more perfect and the Gervais equipment was a big part of that. Our guests literally gasped when they arrived at the tent and saw how beautiful it was. It was equally stunning at night. The Gervais installation and take down crews were great and so efficient. Wow, those guys work hard! We were very appreciative of their efforts.

Gervais Party Rentals was great to work with and accommodate my late request to change the tent we previously ordered to a different style. The tent was set up efficiently and made our wedding venue look even more beautiful and kept everyone dry during the rain! I would highly recommend using them for all tent needs!

We booked Gervais for our wedding pre-COVID. Original plans were for 150 guests. When COVID hit they were wonderful to work with!! They really made us feel important and were very understanding about having to cut back on our order due to number of guests. We rented the tent, table, chairs, linens, and table settings. Everything worked out perfect! The chairs worked in both the ceremony and reception areas. We were able to leave the sides of the tent open all night. I'd recommend Gervais for anyone looking to rent!
