Please shop around. Ask for several past clients and call them. Ask for photos and contractor references. Anyone can have a large portfolio of contractors, but it's having good relationships and results with clients as sell as contractors that tells a good company.
Mike did not stick to the contract, provided a vague contract, and did a bait and switch on materials. He added more to the written contract than he gave us in the estimate, told us our heater was good, then installed a new one before he announced to us we would need a new one. The old one was fully operational. Worse, they installed the propane heater right next to our a.c. compressor and right beneath a bedroom window and vent. A licensed Plumber was NOT used at all. Dangerous exhaust fumes could be sucked intonthe ac compressor and ahould be a minimum of 3 feet from the ac compressor. Dangerous propane can also leak into the comoressor, window, or vent. No hime insoector or insurance company would have approved it.
OSHA work place standards were blown out of the water, creating dangerous yard for workers, ourselves and our dogs, no local ordinances were adhered to as a contractors standard. Since we are rural they clearly chose not to maintain known and current safe building standards.
We fired them. If Mike Kane had spent even part of the effort he spent on asking for payments ( in his personal name ) towards quality of work and contracted work, we would have given him a chance. Mike wastes no time paddung the expenses, but will try to sweet talk his way out of contracted responsibilities. Then the threats from.Mike started. Liens, Sheriff, etc. I cannot recommend ARTISAN Pool and Spa of C B & K Enterprises, llc.
Now i have to spend money MOVING the concrete pad for equipment, plumbing, and electrical. I forgot to mention our negative edge was installed backwards and will spill copious amounts of pool water onto the ground!! Good bye Trees amd Landscaping
