HinterLand Surveying and Geomatics Inc. has been serving the West Kootenay region since 1994. Our office is conveniently located in the east Trail business area. Owner Milos Hinterberger holds commissions as a Canada Lands Surveyor, and as a British Columbia Land Surveyor. He is also a member of the Land Surveyors' Association of Washington State, the Canadian Institute of Geomatics and of the Project Management Institute. Milos grew up in Fruitvale, and has extensive knowledge of the local area. The firm has surveyed primarily in the West Kootenays, though some projects have taken us to the East Kootenays, northern British Columbia, and Vancouver Island. Prior to setting up a practice in Trail, Milos worked on numerous large development projects on Vancouver Island, the arctic, and in the lower mainland. Vancouver's Sky-Train, the 1994 Commonwealth games in Victoria and Jack Nicklaus' Golden Bear development on James Island are just a few.
