I have been to many hair salons over the years, never anything great until I found Eclipps. I was becoming a loyal, regular customer due to their great skill and service... but that all changed when they hired Amina. I have had many bad haircuts in my life, but I have never, NEVER had a haircut as HORRIBLE as the one Amina gave me.

1. I told her I want to grow my layers out so I don't want her to trim the layers, just the bottom of my hair. She trimmed the layers anyway, and made them significantly shorter than they were before, thus throwing away months of trying to grow them out.
2. Her newly trimmed layers in my hair are very blunt and honestly it looks more like I had my hair "chopped" off at a $10 barber shop than stylized at a $45+ hair salon.
3. She trimmed my front layers too despite me saying I don't want any layers trimmed (neither on the back, sides, or on the front), and she trimmed them unevenly so now the layers on my right side are longer than my left side.
4. I told her to texturize my hair, and in the past when I have told people at Eclipps to texturize my hair that just meant that they made the ends less blunt and more soft. What did she do? She went up VERY high on my hair and she literally cut straight blunt lines in my hair. See photo. I have never had anyone do something that stupid before and that probably put me back over a year in growing my hair out.
5. She cut my hair much shorter than what I requested because she insisted "you need it". How rude, and ruined months of hair growth. Plus it's shorter on one side and longer on the other side even at the back, not just my front layers.

I had that haircut months ago and I was so upset. I cried and cried and have been wearing my hair up in a ponytail most of the time ever since. I haven't been to any hair salons since then because I desperately want to just grow my hair out as much as possible then go to a better salon to cut out all the horrible layers and give my hair a second chance. She completely ruined my hair.

Again, I have never had a haircut this horrible in my entire life. I was once a loyal fan of Eclipps and now I feel so utterly betrayed for trusting them. The fact that Amina still works there many months later is a sign that they are not a quality salon and should not be trusted by anyone.
