p.s. All I have to you ladies that have unpleasant things to say about your experience at this bridal shop is... More then likely the only thing unpleasant about your dress shopping experience was YOU and YOUR bad attitudes!' and by far not the ladies in this shop! I highly recommend this store to and bride to be!
Now, purchasing it, they had misplaced the Modesty panel (behind the corset tied back) and were to call me back with when they had found it. They also told me that if I needed any alterations, to come back in early April.
From January to April, I never received a call regarding the back piece. Concerned, I finally went in at the beginning of April asking about it, and dealt with the manager. After about a fifteen minute wait , the lady dismissed me and said that they would call me within the next three days letting me know whether they could find the modesty piece with further searching, or if not, call the designer and order one. I went back in a week later, of course after not receiving a call, and the manager (after a long wait, once again) told me that they had ordered one and would call me when the store got it in with the next shipment.
About a week and a half later, my mom told me to go in to double check. Unfortunately, I am quite busy with sport teams and work, and asked her to go in in my place. She went in, and was told that there was actually no record of a call or an order being placed and that if they would not be able to get it in, that I would need to bring in the dress so they could match the fabric and make one for me. Still my mother has not received a call. My grad is in less than THREE weeks.
My best friend bought her grad dress at Alfred and Young, and actually found out that the lady who originally helped me with my grad dress was working there. Understandable considering the dishonesty and horrible treatment that can only be expected from Ethos.
She has been treated like a princess (after all, is this not the only time before you are treated like a queen? -- ie. your wedding day) and they have been bending over backwards to make sure that her dress is absolutely perfect for her graduation day.
I definitely cannot say the same about Ethos, and I am extremely unimpressed.
Thanks again Val and Kathy!
