The foot can sustain enormous pressure and provides flexibility and resiliency. Your foot is made up of: 26 bones, 33 joints, over 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments. These structures are supported by a vast array of blood vessels and nerves and work together to provide us with balance and mobility. A problem with any of these structures can cause problems anywhere in the body. At our clinic we assess and treat a number of dysfunctions, including using modern techniques to help with the prevention of falling with the use of orthotics and leg braces.
