Excellent moving and packing service. This is a family run business and they are fantastic! We had them pack up a shipping container for a trip across the country and they did an amazing job tetrising everything in and using up all the space so that we didn’t have to order a second box for all our stuff. Very courteous and careful with your stuff. Would highly recommend.

Not very good. Estimate was hundreds less than final cost.
Said we couldn’t get our dining room table in until we told them how. Were going to chop it!
Surprised since their reputation was supposed to be wonderful.
Daughter’s move months later also underestimated. Damage done.

I would not trust anyone other than Capes movers to safely transport my furniture. I have used them for many moves over the years and highly recommend them to anyone looking to deal with a professional moving company that cares about what they are doing. 5 star service!

When it was time for my elderly parents to finally sell their home and downsize to an apartment, we knew without a doubt Capes was the moving team we wanted . The team was kind, helpful , efficient and most of all affordable on a retirees pension.

I was just cancelled on 20 days before my move because they had a bigger job come up. I would not choose them if you need a reliable option for moving.

This company arrived on site to perform its duties 2 hours late. I found broken glass in the driveway and questioned them about it (it was a juice glass). A person (who was at the truck) informed me that they were handling my possessions VERY roughly. Indeed items were broken and others were damaged. Upon arriving at my new apartment; when the person watching them loading the truck left, the gentlemen moving my property suddenly slowed down a great deal. Their actual cost was over $100 more than the estimated amount. No offer of compensation for being late.
I'm afraid I cannot recommend CAPES MOVERS.

When I moved, 4 years ago, the guys showed up and had everything done packed into the truck in no time at all. No problems. No damage. No surprises.
They offloaded and had everything done by 1pm. They were respectful and very careful with my belongings.
I have since had them come move things WITHIN my home that I cannot do myself.
I cannot recommend them enough.

We've used Capes for every one but one and that was the worst movie I ever had. Capes employees are polite and hard workers.

From start to finish; working with Capes Movers Ltd. was A+++. The office was responsive, understanding and efficient. Ran into an issue that was my fault, and the office thought outside the box with finding a mode of communication. The 3 movers were courteous and was able to map out and plan so effectively!! They were careful with all of the furniture and even assisted with putting 3 pieces back together. The best move I have experienced thus far and will continue to work with them and recommend to anyone I know! Thank you :-)

We hired Capes when my mother moved from Sarnia to Barrie, and we were extremely pleased with the results. They were professional, courteous, and punctual, and the price was very reasonable. Loading and unloading was quick and efficient, and not one item was lost or damaged in the process. We also liked that they are a local, family-owned business. Highly recommended!
