Car service - Broken Windshield

I went for car servicing in Attrell Toyota last week (11th Aug 2020). No car checks were made and some guy took the car and parked it.
After my car was serviced, they call me and asked to pay me the dues and handed over they key. When i went to the car I realized that my windshield is cracked. I talked to the lady but she said it was already broken. She then redirected me to service manager Joe Borello.
I waited for sometime and then service manager without talking anything, shows me the cctv footage and told me 'See its already broken when you arrived'. After looking at it, I told him that 'Its sun glare in the camera, which is in crescent shape but the crack on my windshield is like a zigzag. There is no crack'

I asked him to see the crack on the windshield but then he argued that its because of the small stones and it happens every time. I told him that it was not there when I got my car to service and its your responsibility. He very rudely responded 'we will not do anything, take your car out of the premise, do whatever you want, I don't care'. He than turned back and went off.

I then asked the lady at the reception to meet the dealer principal but she said he is not there and then pointed me to someone else. I am not sure who that person was, I told him everything and then he asked me to wait. He talked to few guys and came back. He also talked to me in the same tone and told that its was already there. I then told him that in cctv footage the crack is not there, to which he responded 'Go claim it with your insurance, it happens everyday. My wife also had the same thing. She claimed it from them'.

I have no option and then I came back. I wrote an email to General Manager John Attrell raising my concerns but its been more that a week, I haven't received any response from anyone. I also followed up but still no answer.

I have never imagined the kind of service/response and unprofessional behavior from the team. I would not recommend anyone to service there car from them.

I should thank the welcoming staff there and my special thanks goes to Mr. Zakir Hussain who served me at a very professional level. His work ethic and dedication througt the process should be appriciated. I've always been wary of car salesman, often with good reason, but you've helped to redefine the stereotype.

Thank you so much for answering all of my questions honestly, and making that process not as painful as it otherwise could have been. I'm happy with the car I purchased, and it was a very good deal indeed! That's a pretty ideal situation when it comes to buying a new car, and it's all thanks to you.

You can be sure that if I have any friends looking to buy new cars in the future, I'll be more than happy to refer Attrell Toyota and telling them to ask for Zakir. Thanks again

Just wanted to show my appreciation for the Toyota dealership located at Toyota Attrell in Brampton. From the minute I walked I felt like a valued customer. They gave a me an amazing experience from when I purchased the vehicle and even after purchase service is second to none.

The sales staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. The maintenance staff as well are well versed in their practice and dont gouge you for every penny.

They are truly amazing and because of their great products/service I have purchased 2 vehicles from them in a matter of 10 month period.

I can't say enough about the service I received from Brock and Joe when I brought my 2007 Yaris in for repair. My car had high mileage and it appeared the engine may need replacing. After replacing something less expensive that we were hoping it might be, it was determined that it was in fact the engine. At this point, we were not looking to purchase a new car, so we decided to replace the engine. We were given a good deal on a low mileage replacement engine. When we drove the car home, we noticed that something just wasn't right. We brought it back and it was quickly determined that it was something unrelated to the engine they had replaced. Even though this part was a costly item and totally unrelated to the work they had done, Brock showed great compassion for us as customers and on behalf of Attrell Toyota, absorbed the cost. This work was done five months ago, and the car has run perfectly since. Thanks for the excellent customer service Attrell Toyota!

just bought a new car from Attrell Toyota. Amazing service by Kal Kundan, sales rep assigned to show me my car. Bought the car within 20 minutes. Friendly, personable, approachable, and answered all my questions. He got my car ready for pick up within 2 business days.

All in all, excellent staff, excellent service. And FAST.

Been bringing my vehicles here for over two years now. Have always been very pleased with the Service, a special thank you to Service Advisor Jason Tang. Recently had some warranty issues with My 2014 Tundra and was extremely pleased with how some difficult problems were handled by the Service Manager, David Attrell. I will continue to bring Attrell my business, and recommend them to friends and co-workers. Currently own my 8th and 9th Toyota, and I must say the Service here is far superior to most...as mentioned I have not returned to my home dealer, and drive by an additional dealer to come here. Keep up the great work, much appreciated!

There were few scratches on my Toyota Sienna and I tried fixing it myself using Toyota Touch-up Paint Pen which made it worse as i didn't applied it correctly. I drove into ATS showroom late evening without appointment and there I met Brock Brum who had looked at my vehicle and ensured that excessive paint will be fixed and he will get the car back to the original condition. He explained me the detailing Gold package and I booked the appointment for Saturday. I was in showroom by 7:30 AM and Brock and Ron Ali (Detailing Manager) inspected the vehicle and informed the issue will be fixed.

As informed, i received my vehicle back like original condition after servicing with no trace of excessive paint. The people in service department are very professional and understood my requirements. I will continue to visit ATS for any vehicle service requirements in future. Also, i would like to thank you Larry Rinaldi (Service Greeter). Overall great experience dealing with ATS.

I brought my Camry hybrid xle at 4.30pm without an appointment. The issue was with a loud clicking sound when opening the driver side door. I was checked in promptly and a diagnostic arranged promptly within less than 10 mins. The CS agent mentioned that he wanted to be sure it was what he suspected before booking it in for a part and repair. To my surprise the team managed to fix it and for no charge !! What a surprise and so very quickly. They even insisted on washing my car. They have my business and future custom knowing that there are people in the service department that look out for the customer and try to save them money and provide the best possible options and care. Well done.

The Service Department at Attrell Toyota has been a pleasure to deal with. They are very professional and speak to their customers proficently and are kind. Brock, the Service Advisor at Toyota is absolutely amazing. He has always been efficient, knowledgeable and has the customers best interest at hand.

It has always been said that going to your dealer for repairs and inspections, is something that should never be done. That they are only out to grab your money, they can't be trusted, etc. I have to say that Attrell Toyota dispels this myth completely and it is because of their honesty and service, that I bring my 08 Corolla *DIRECTLY TO* the dealership and no where else! I know details about my vehicle will be laid out exactly as I expect and without any fluff. I am told with all honesty what services and parts are mandatory and which can be skimped on, even if only until a later date. It is nice to know that I don't have to be concerned about being nickel and dimed to death, on unnecessary work being done to my car. My car is always with an exterior wash after the service is finished and having a direct representative to their preferred body shop, found within the dealership itself, makes it a one stop shop for all my needs.

Thanks so much Attrell Toyota, especially to Joe Borello of the service department, who I trust 100% with my car and have never been let down by him in all the years I have owned my vehicle.

Please keep up the great work, as I will be recommending you to anyone in need of a Toyota vehicle and I will always get service on my Toyota done through you guys, knowing you won't ever disappoint.

Attrell Toyota Scion which I will refer to as ATS throughout this review understands the meaning of the customer experience.

I admit my Toyota was not obtained through ATS so I cannot speak to the sales side of the business in great detail, however I do have my vehicle serviced at ATS.

Now I am a very picky customer and have very high expectations. My first interaction with ATS was when I inquired on repairing my old 92 Corolla, that had been sitting for 3 years due to a bad radiator. I called ATS service and spoke to the Service Advisor Brock Brum. He provided an estimate to repair the rad, a few weeks later I decided to have the vehicle towed to ATS so Brock could have his team asses the vehicle as I knew it would need more than a radiator after sitting outdoors for 3 years. The cost was upwards near 2k and based on what was found and the great advice from Brock, I decided to send the car to heaven (car heaven an auto recycler). Brock facilitated the whole transaction and made the process very simple, especially on my part.

At this point I decided Brock was the guy I would continuously deal with.

I of course brought my newer vehicle, a 2013 Highlander in for maintenance and service and Brock has been great at every interaction. Brock explains what is required and is extremely knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance as he is a licensed technician, which reassures my confidence.

ATS Service department is in my mind exceptional, I own 3 vehicles the Highlander mentioned above and 2 others, I wont say what make and models but they are not Toyotas. Of the other 2 (non Toyota) one is an older vehicle the other a newer. I would like to take a minute to say that the older vehicle required maintenance after being stored for 4 years in the garage. I brought the vehicle to said manufactures dealership, now keep in mind the last production year for this vehicle was 1999. After a horrendous ordeal at the other manufactures service department (trust me there is a whole other story here in which in took close to 3 months before my vehicle was returned, due to negligence at the other manufactures dealership). When I did get that vehicle back it had issues where it was leaking radiator fluid. I contacted the manufactures services department via email for an estimate and they never got back to me.

Now Brock knew about the whole ordeal as I had sought his expertise about the situation, and after the other dealership did not get back to me about repairing the rad, I asked if Brock would consider taking in another manufactures vehicle and perform the repairs, without a blink Brock willingly accepted and we made arrangements to have the repairs performed. I was so pleased I asked Brock to have the vehicle sent for Toyota Touch Gold Detailing package, remember the car sat for 4 years it was dirty to say the least.

I was pleased with the outcome of the detailing and when I picked up the vehicle I met a number of ATS team members, all in which were a pleasure to speak with.

To sum this all up ATS Service is the place to go to service your Toyota, they know what they are talking about and better still the technicians perform the work correctly the first time.

I have been taking my car to Attrell for service for 10 years and have never experienced a poor result. Recently, I have dealt with Brock and Joe on emergency occasions and both times I was accomodated quickly and satisfactorily. Explanations are always clear and the resulting service is always satisfactory. I have always left feeling that I and my care were well cared for. Thanks to the service area for a great job!

Joe has been my service representative at Attrell Toyota for may years. My Toyota Sienna is now 8 years old and Joe has always made sure it is in good working order. I never feel pressured to have unneeded services. I always get a detailed explanation of what needs to be done and why. He is always kind and courteous to both myself and my family. I give Joe a 5 Star/ Excellent rating.

Friendly, courteous people at Attrell Toyota Scion​ (at the Brampton Auto Mall, 110 Canam Crescent) with exemplary customer service and excellent workmanship. Special mention about David Attrell and Brock Brum from the Service Department for their kindness, patience, and assistance to my brother yesterday. Their prompt attention to the order ensured that my brother had his car mirror ordered, delivered and installed in record time, with all the other work done expeditiously, while keeping the costs reasonable. Keep up the good work! We are considering the Scion I AM as our next vehicle in the near future. We are definitely recommending your dealership.

Taking my car in for repair has always been such an emotional event for me, as I am a woman who is not mechanically inclined. It's emotional for the fact that I feel so vulnerable and have to trust someone to tell me the truth.

Although I live several hours away, after the incredible frustration of not having my engine issue addressed by two Toyota dealerships, in desperation I called Attrell Toyota in Brampton. I had purchased my car from Philip in April 2013, and I remembered that he had assured me at that time that he was there to help me in anyway he could.

Speaking with Joe Borello, I was assured Attrell Toyota would help me, and an appointment was immediately set up for Monday morning. I was impressed that Joe not only heard my concerns, but continued to reassure me that Attrell would do whatever was necessary to repair my car.

It wasn't long before Joe informed me that the mechanic had located my engine trouble and was fixing it at that very moment.

After 3 1/2 long weeks of having to drive my 2011 Toyota Corolla sounding like a muscle car, I was moved to tears when I left the dealership with my car, which was back to running smoothly and quietly.

I thank each member of the Attrell Team for their dedication to ensure their customers are well cared for. I pray God's blessing over your Dealership and Team as you continue to give others your absolute best!
