As a practice, we are true believers that excellence in performing plastic surgery procedures is derived from both education and experience. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking your total health before performing and procedures. We also know that surgery is never routine, no matter how many hundreds of times we have performed such procedures. We never take for granted that you have placed a great deal of confidence in us. For this reason, a review of your medical history, your current health, your expectations for your surgery and your motivations for electing any cosmetic procedure are all taken into consideration before we even agree to perform any procedure.

Dr. Afifi has trained in many areas of plastic & reconstructive surgery, having wished to become a plastic surgeon since the age of 12, when she watched a documentary about plastic surgeons who traveled to third world countries to perform reconstructive surgery on children and adults alike with birth and traumatic injuries. She committed herself to that goal and has been privileged to have been able to do what her dream was years ago. She was accepted to an accelerated biomedical program at the age of 17, which allowed her to graduate from college Summa Cum Laude, and earn her medical degree soon after at the age of 23.
