Axmen was founded in the Spring of 1973, when a man named Bud Hanson sold his hardware store in Ronan, Montana, teamed up with his two sons, Grant & Guy, and bought a piece of land just outside Missoula. Bud Hanson had some novel ideas about business that have been a keystone for Axmen's continued success
