I ordered during the Black Friday sale on November 29th and the website said it would take 5-7 days to arrive. A month later my order still hadn’t shipped so I contacted them about it. They were able to ship the order and told me it had arrived around mid December. The buzzer number I gave them was never rung, they had no photos of the package at my door, and when I went to pick up the package there was nothing there. I kept emailing customer support for 2 months, they kept sending back prewritten messages telling me to keep waiting for it. Eventually I gave up and filed a chargeback with my credit card company a few days before the chargeback period expired and a day later I got my first contact from an actual human telling me that I should have contacted them instead of filing a chargeback. On top of that, they disputed my chargeback without providing any evidence which caused it to be delayed another month and a half for no reason. I finally got the refund 4 months after the order failed to come in. The experience with customer service was like banging my head against a wall without all the fun parts. It seems like they’ve gotten comfortable with their reputation as a good company for Canadians to buy alternative shoes from and started cutting corners in every aspect from shipping to customer service.

I have been a Shoe freak costumer for many years- until I have ordered a platform sandals in a wrong size .
I immediately contacted costumer support regarding to the return of the purchase.
Great costumer service - fast response and communication
REFUND IS NOT SO MUCH !!
After 3 weeks of communication over the phone / email still NO REFUND.
Company refund policy is 1-2 weeks !!
I have read many bad reviews regarding to this matter !!
I am beyond aggravated at this point - thats how the loyal clients are being treated ?!

Purchased boots on Aug 19th. FedEx delivery on Aug 25th. FedEx claims delivery was at 8:31am. Negative. I called FedEx at 8:41am, exactly 10 minutes after apparent delivery. No boots.

After 4 FedEx case numbers, and no less than 15+ calls to FedEx, 3 calls to my Credit Card Company, and several emails and telephone calls to Shoe Freaks, it was clear my package was missing.

My local FedEx Manager said "GPS Ping" was at a different address than mine. Meaning they mis-delivered. D'uh. 1-800 FedEx employee also confirmed this, and added notes to what she called the "Trace Notes." After yet a couple of weeks of so-called investigating, Shoe Freaks says their findings show GPS says it delivered to my address. Contradicting and diametrically opposing my own research where my local Manager and the 1-800 FedEx employee assures me GPS Pings shows a different delivery address.

So, in the end, I paid $145 for an item that I never received. Shoe Freaks profited from my misfortune. And now I'm left to dealing with the Credit Card Company protection, and filing complaints (such as this) online.

I understand that we've all had negative experiences with companies before. But when Shoe Freaks offers me a reason from their inside FedEx contact person, and that information contradicts two other FedEx employees telling me the GPS Ping was at a different address, then that tells me Shoe Freaks is far from a creditable company.

After ordering, the boots arrived very quickly to my front door. I originally ordered a size 10 but after seeing the box I noticed it was not EU 41 (which is often a size 10). I wish there was a complete size chart available on their website as it would have avoided this error in the first place but I am also to blame for not double-checking by asking them. I returned the boots a few days later and emailed asking about what size correlates for EU 41. I received a reply letting me know they would send size 11 and then I received a shipment confirmation. Up to this point the experience was quick and easy.

I received a notification that my order had arrived but there was no delivery. I checked in the mailroom, with the front office, neighbours, etc. but found nothing. I called Canada Post and they said they would look into it. When they called me back they told me they delivered it and that I should call the retail company for further help. I emailed ShoeFreaks explaining my situation and they said they would get back to me when they had more information. I heard nothing for a week so I emailed asking for an update. They said they were still waiting for Canada Post to reply to them. I emailed a week after that for an update. I received an email from one of the staff saying they would check for an update. Another week passed and I emailed once again for an update and heard nothing back. At this point it has been a month since I’ve been trying to resolve this so I emailed the next day and the day after that. It’s been 5 business days since I sent the first email this week and I still have not heard back.

I’m not sure why they have chosen to ignore my emails but since I still want the boots I place another order.

My friends told me to open a dispute through PayPal so I could at least get my money back but I didn’t want to cause trouble for a small Canadian business during a global pandemic. I’m really disappointed by how this was handled but most of all I’m offended by the fact they still have not replied to any of my emails. I was hoping to continue supporting this company in the future since I love the brands they carry but after this experience I prefer to go through the brands directly.

I understand if they didn’t want to send another pair or even give me a refund since I’m still unsure of exactly what happened but maybe a fair solution would have been some kind of credit, discount or incentive for me to buy the second pair. The least they could have done was replied to my email to let me know there was nothing they could do.

Anyways, let’s hope this order arrives (Changed it to another address this time).

I originally ordered the shoes in November 4th, it is not December 23rd. I got a message a few days after I fully paid and ordered the shoes saying they were actually out of stock but never updated the website. Then I got a message saying they would be restocked around November 20th. I emailed them on the 20th and they said they won’t going to come in until the 11th. I emailed on the 11th of December and they said it was pushed to the 23rd. Just to get them in stock not even for them to get to me. I now emailed on the 23rd of December a month and half after I placed the order as a Christmas gift. They said it would be delayed until January 2nd, almost a full 2 months after I ordered. I acted to request express shipping and they said no. So now after 2 months I have no Christmas gift, no idea when it’s coming cause the time is not consistent and no apologies, just thanks for your patience which counts for nothing considering they don’t even offer refunds. I don’t recommend ordering and I will NEVER order from them again!

I accidentally ordered the wrong sized shoes. I promptly emailed their customer service and received a reply in under 12 hours! They changed my order as per request, no questions asked. Customer service was above and beyond, considering the current state of the world.

I ordered shoes and they were too large. I returned them as per Shoefreak’s return instructions and printed form. I paid Canada post to return them at my expense. Canada post confirmed delivery yet shoefreak denied receiving them. They refuse to send me the shoes in a smaller size and now I’m out $200 and no shoes. Worse customer service and a totally untrustworthy company. Order from any other fine shoe companies online than these scammers.

Love everything about my purchase except that they were a bit small for me. I had a feeling, I knew I should have ordered the size 8 as I am usually 7 to 7.5. Anyway, the return procedure was fast and seamless, responded to my request right away and got my awesome style in size 8 now!

I got 2 different pairs of shoes and LOVE THEM!! I have been getting compliments and glares of envy every time I've worn them.

P.S. For those who are not sure about sizing, I usually wear a 9.5-10 and ordered a size 10 in both shoes which fit perfectly
