Cal 1 Moving

Long distance moving is really stressful and takes a lot of time to get things done. Therefore, I hired this company to help us out. I like how they are quick to respond, their reasonable price, prompt and most of all their hard working movers. The whole moving was done right on time and the stuff were properly secured in the truck. I had no trouble working with these guys and I would recommend them for a job well done.

Good moving company! Very Professional, fast and efficient. They carefully wrapped my furniture, frames and some of my valuable things were put in boxes. Did the work at reasonable pace. - not to hurry, not too slow. And were careful to our things like it was own. All the things arrived at final destination without anything lost. Will definitely be using again if needed.

Hidden charges, delivery 3 weeks late(broken truck), a lot of broken items, horrible organization, rude employees. Quote was for $3500 and 1000sq ft. Ended up costing $7500 because all items needed boxed. So 10 boxes and some bubble wrap was $1000!!! Plus the boxes took up more space so they bumped us to 1600sqft. The driver picked up a couple local old guys to help unpack and who knows where they came from. They smelled up the whole house, and were too old and weak to move the fridge Inside. To top it off one of the guys cut himself and left a trail of blood all over the hardwood flooring. When I called Cal1 moving...took about 2 days to get ahold of somebody they said they would cover the cleaning which should be about $30.... TOP THAT OFF THEY WILL NOT SEND ME THE CLAIM FORMS TO SUBMIT MY BROKEN ITEMS. They offered me a whopping $250 because they were late on delivery but I could not sue or write bad reviews. That's how much I want everybody to know how much of a horrible experience this was...they can keep the $250 and I keep in mind I have not done a bad review in m life and never felt the need to until now. STAY AWAY!

This moving company is very professional and reliable. They arrived on time, did what they had to do in a professional and efficient manner, and charged accordingly. All the information was explained up-front and I had no surprises.I have already recommended to a neighbor!

I am very content with the services from this moving company. Cal 1 goes out of their way to make sure you have a smooth sailing move! They were courteous and professional the whole way through. If you are still looking for a good mover, I would definitely recommend you to Cal 1.

I used Cal 1 Moving for a recent move and I am very happy with how everything went. It was very easy to make changes, check availability for dates and making the reservation was very simple as well. Great prices with no hidden fees and it was great working with them as they're polite, friendly and efficient! Would use again.

The move went really well, nothing was unexpected and to be frank, the crew was lovely! They came on time, delivered within the week as I was told and there was very minimal damage which is being covered by them

CAL 1 is exceptional with both customer service and execution. The sales agent was extremely professional and patient. I had to switch moving dates and inventory lists many times and Robert was always there taking his time to do it all right even if it did take up quite some time. He was also really responsive in my initial inquiry which I think already pushed me towards choosing them. The move did take more time than anticipated due to some disassembly and packing but overall it was all perfect.

These guys were great, they showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did a good job not damaging my items. Their support team truly is fantastic as well. By support team I meant he people working behind the scenes like my sales agent. I called several other companies, and their support team was ridiculously slow.

I really don’t know what I would have done without cal 1, they made a really stressful thing like moving something really simple. They put my mind at ease from the start as they explained everything to me upfront so I had no surprises and I knew what I was getting into. Their packing skills are great and delivery time was quick too! Recommended.

I didn’t really take part in the actual process of choosing a mover as my partner did that, but I do have a lot to say about the service itself. I am completely satisfied and content with how our move went down and how it was handled. They truly are 5 star movers and hopefully I never have to move again but if I did I would go ahead and give them a call.

I decided to go with CAL 1 because they seemed to be really honest and upfront. I made a great choice because my move went accordingly with no issues. Like many, I heard really horrid stories about moving companies and I can honestly say that CAL 1 is not one of those companies! They are fantastic and I would recommend to anyone!

No surprises, no gimmicks. This company it’s the real deal. I was a bit insecure about hiring someone online, to do such a major job, but they nailed it. They were also very polite and easy to handle, CAL 1 has definitely accomplished all my needs, and even more. Can’t thank enough!

Many and his team from Cal 1 moving were absolutely stellar. I could not have been more pleased - prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable at every turn. I learned with these movers that there is more than one way to do anything, they moved quickly and efficiently, and you could tell they really took pride in their work. I contacted Cal 1 because they have been highly recommended by my real estate agent. I also did my own research because I wanted to make sure that my belongings were going to be treated properly during the transit. After due diligence research, I read other recommendations and they seem to be an honest company to work with, so did some more research to get their sales offices phone number. Their website does not offer much info, and this is my only criticism I’d give to this moving company. When I called Cal 1, only after one or two tones, Donna answered and helped me through the process of listing my items on their inventory to estimate the space I’d be needing to use. She didn't push on using Cal 1, but she actually offered different options on what was available. I could either choose full packing or non packing services. I could also have choosen a full service move which includes all services, including professional packing. This is what I liked about them: choices. I decided to use Cal 1 for my loading and unloading and packing as well. I felt it was a better option and more economical, which Donna recommended. I contacted other movers in the area and none of them offered me these choices. Just go for Cal 1, they really are great movers.

We had a group of 4 men and they were all courteous and careful with all our furniture and boxes. They were even sweet with our 3 year old who was constantly bothering them trying to get their attention! Everything arrived in perfect timing and shape so I recommend CAL 1 to any family member of friend.

These guys were just great!! Fast, on time and careful with all my stuff. SUPER polite and respectful, can’t honestly find this nowhere else. I would totally use them again and I will be telling my friends about them. What else is there to say? They got the job done.

The CAL1 guys were hardworking, friendly, careful and never complained. Our stuff arrived intact and they were accommodating when we had some last minute changes of mind about the amount of things to load and about the delivery date. They moved me from Santa Monica CA to Portland OR, including doing about half of the packing for a decent price, besides all the wrapping was already included as well as the disassembling and the reassembling. My move was as stress free as one can hope and faster than any other company could have accomplished. These guys are totally worth it, thanks!

Donna was my agent at Cal1, I had to move my storage unit that I left behind when I moved to my new home. She made things really easy for me as my sister was there to receive the crew at the unit. I had packed all in the unit myself but I know that they did an amazing job because when my furniture arrived it looked brand new as the packing was tip top! It was a really good experience and I couldn’t be happier. Thank u donna and cal1!

We had the best mover help us today! Many and other two guys with him, helped us wrap, move, upload, all of our belongings and furniture into the truck and to our new home. We are so grateful we had them. I highly recommend requesting these three gentleman if you need help moving. Very efficient, all fragile items intact. Thanks so much to these guys, we could NOT have done this without them.

Great work. Good hustle. Many was a pro… he was friendly, fun and strong, and the movers he brought with him were the nicest ever. I had a ton of stairs and they handled it with ease. They even wrapped everything well and that was for free. Didn't break a thing. I paid in cash and with a big discount for booking the move in advance. Everything turned out to be great even though I had lots of thing to move and was worried about any damage on them. All thanks to CAL1 Moving and Storage tam of great workers!

I read all the fantastic reviews therefore decided to use this company. Still so impressed with everything! They were on time and knocked out our move in less than 4 hours.. Which included a nightmare drive with all the traffic. Prices are very reasonable and they did a great job wrapping our furniture. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family because choosing ain’t always easy...but this company takes the edge off.

CAL1 Moving and Storage made our move easy. We found everyone very professional, the person who answered the initial call, the moving leader, and its movers. They followed up with us confirming appointments, moving time, etc, which gave us confidence that we can rely on them. The movers worked very fast and efficiently, and at the same time, were very careful. The estimate we received was very reasonable to begin with, but the actual charge we paid at the end was less than the estimate. CAL1 Moving and Storage made this move painless for us. Although we do not wish to move again soon, we will definitely call them.
