I went to the Leominster branch to get my son's cell repaired because it wasn't charging properly--I was told by the sales rep Shayne Morse that we were eligible for a full free upgrade ($830 value) for the which I agreed to do at that time. We were told to bring the old cell in after a couple of weeks to trade in to be sure the transfer of data was complete--when we returned to a different branch, we were informed we were only eligible for 50% of the offer and we would need to upgrade to the Ultimate Plan at a higher cost for full credit. I would not have upgraded had I known--I would have used cell phone insurance that we had to repair the phone.

We complained to Shayne Morse and escalated to the store manager Chris Corlis who discussed it with the owner --they flatly refused to assist me despite Shayne having acknowledged to me that he made an error. He and the management expect me to cover the additional $400+ cost which is totally outrageous.

We were misled and it is unacceptable. Clearly there is a serious problem with competence and staff accountability. I was told the owner refused to discuss this with me and Chris Corlis, the manager, was rude to me.

I would strongly recommend that you avoid this franchise and buy from another franchise or Verizon Corporate to avoid what I went through--it took hours of my time to address this without a satisfactory resolution by Wireless Zone
