Krown Ottawa South, Ottawa Reviews (3)
I would agree with the previous reviewer cote1946. I am a professional engineer registered in Ontario and a university professor in engineering. The ethics and quality of the work at this location is unacceptable. I would avoid at all costs.
I have been a loyale customer of krown for years, before i was buying a new car every 4 years. So back in 2001 I bought a new Protege and started with Krown. So now nine years later i just sold that car in mint shape for $6600. Now i have bought a new 2011 Corolla and guess where my first stop is Krown. Thanks staff and keep up the great work.
In early November 2009 I brought in a Nissan SUV to be treated with the Krown rustproofing.
Well it was done much quicker than I expected so when I brought it home I removed the panel on the tailgate and found the inside of the tailgate HAD NOT BEEN DONE. So I had to bring it back (with the tailgate panel off)to correct the error.
Then I brought it back home and checked it again, this time the underside of the vehicle. Again most of the brake lines had not been done and other metal parts had been missed(some of the rusty areas were obviously not treated).
It's obvious the cars are "rushed through the process" just by observing what's being done and noting the time taken to do the treatment. Absolutely disgusting when you realize how many other customers have been misled by this shoddy work.
Now I hear from others of other locations doing a much more THOROUGH job. BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE AT THIS LOCATION!!
I'll be making it my mission to warn neighbours, friends and whomever I meet to avoid this business location . In the meantime, I'll be looking for a rust treatment facility with an EXCELLENT REPUTATION and will report/recommend it on forums on the Internet.
