Kal Tire, Saskatoon Reviews (4)
Brought in 4 brand new expensive repro muscle car rims to have performance tires put on, they gouged a rim through the clearcoat and into the aluminum. When I went to pick them up it was not evident as it was stacked on the bottom, I should have checked rather than trusted, what are they gonna do anyway buy me a new rim.
Absolutely terrible, I have several cars and require tires and service fairly frequently and I will never darken the door of their crappy business again.

Went in for winter tires and new wheels. Half way through they told me they wouldn't install my new wheels because there are no tire pressure sensors in them and I would have to do it myself. Got them home and found out they gave me the wrong lug nuts after jacking up the car and removing a wheel. Found out later they installed and charged me for plastic valve stems when metal ones came with the lug nuts I bought. Last but not least, they caused the loss of my original lug nuts' key.
I waited three hours just for them to look my car. It just needed a basic part replaced. Nothing crazy. After their add-ons to the estimate, they wanted to do over $1200 worth of work. No wonder they don't talk pricing over the phone.
The estimate included a set of brake pads they told me they had to throw out because they were "salvageable", and replacing another part that was still in good shape.
After I said no to the work, they seemed to mess something up with the calipers because the brakes were faulty only after they looked at it. After I checked underneath, I found that they in fact did not "throw out" my brake pads, because they were all still there, and they were still a good 18-20 mm thick, in very good shape.
They flat out lied to me, assuming I would just pay for the work, and that they could get away with it. I assume it happens all the time. Take what you will from my experience, hopefully there is a trustworthy shop somewhere in this city, but it's not Kal Tire on 8th.

Very easy to work with and did a good job.
